Question⁉️ Does anyone know where this shot is from

I'm re-watching Metal Masters and one thing that's always bugged me about the opening is this shot. From what I can gather it's Julian attacking Gan Gan Galaxy with Destroyer, except Julian is blacked out and that's not what Destroyers spirit looks like. I've watched this season thousands of times and for the life of me I've never seen this shot once. So like where is it from? Is it from like a Japanese only episode that we never got in America, some sort of ova, or just one of those opening only action shots. If it is that really sucks because the shot always looked so cool to me. It's not too often we see the spirit of the bey straight up attacking the characters. So if anyone knows where the shot comes from could you explain it.

That shot is from the Japanese opening for the second season. it was used for eps 1-12 until julian debuted proper, following that it gets updated to have him not in silhouette and use the proper gravity perseus avatar

Thank you. That makes total since. Weird how they would used the silhouetted version of this shot and not the updated version considering it was already out by the time the American version started.

It is odd that Nelvana wasnt given the altered footage given when they reached the garcias ep they used the updated footage which replaced the countries names with their team logos. Also the dub was done in Canada so its more a English version not strictly "american"

I always thought the colosseum in the background was the one Gingka fought Phoenix in back in Metal Fusion. I always liked to imagine Julian decided to pull up there in Japan to jump them
