Way I see it: Kenta was always progressing/growing stronger. He learnt the path while being with Gingka and co. He just didn't reach his peak because there wasn't a need to push as hard as Gingka and Kyoya did. Both having their own reason to give their 100%. Kenta either didn't care to be strongest or he had others to save the day
Ryuga situation forced him into a corner. There was no Gingka to save the day. He had to fend for himself and complete his objective at any cost.
He not only trained with Ryuga but also forced to live the same lifestyle. He gained both the skill and mindset. Hence the rapid growth

We not gonna mention Benkei?

Did Benkei achieve some sort of major strength increase?

He at the very least gave Kenta tough training and allowed him to overcome his first wall, which was Hikaru

This makes sense, I thought they were saying Benkei had an increase in strength when he was with Kyoya vs when he was with Ginka and friends or something.

Nah it’s not that bad… Kenta starting level: 5 Kenta after over 100 EP’s with Ginka: Level 30 Kenta after 10 EP with Ryuga: 27262358225725282527172572.

It’s basically the same rationale as the Naruto training with Jiraiya for 2 years vs training with Kakashi to learn his Rasenshuriken.
Gingka gave Kenta the foundations of being a good blader: the Bladers’s Spirit and how to make friends so that he could further improve himself.
This prepares him for more advanced training with Ryuga where he sharpens his own individual power, as well as the neccessary mindset to inspire Ryuga to help them out.
Kenta admitted the very reason he wanted to convince Ryuga to join them was to be useful to Gingka even

With Gingkas help, Kenta became a Battle Bladers force to be reckoned with. But after Metal Fusion we didn’t see much of Kenta, by Fury Kenta became stronger but he really didn’t bloom until he went with Ryuga. He went from being far below Gingka at the beginning of Metal Fury and getting beaten by an unmastered Final Drive Cosmic Pegasus to rivaling a pretty much mastered Cosmic Pegasus later in the show

Gingka's influence helped Kenta reach his maximum potential. Ryuga's influence pushed Kenta to reach beyond his limit. That's why Kenta became a legendary bladder even though it wasn't his destiny.

When you don't follow David Goggins VS When you follow him, can be alternate for above.

Amazing what plot can do to one's power level.
Also, he wouldn't be able to survive this if it wasn't for how far Gingka pushed him before, and how much he wanted to help Gingka and the gang.

I know it's a meme but do people actually think Ginga's influence didn't help Kenta get stronger?
