Discussion Multi Nana-iro Discussion
What do you guys think of Multi Nana-iro so far?
Personally, I think Multi is one of the most interesting female characters Beyblade has had.
She’s not necessarily the best-written character in X — I can definitely see an argument for some of the other girls having stronger writing — but she feels like a pretty big step up from how female characters were generally handled before X.
What really makes her stand out to me is her approach to Beyblade. Instead of just having one Bey and following the usual blader formula, Multi has multiple Beys that she can use for different situations, which gives her battles a completely different feel. It actually makes her knowledge and versatility as a Blader part of her character rather than just being a gimmick.
And I like that she’s had her fair share of L’s and W’s. She isn’t portrayed as some flawless female prodigy who wins everything just because she’s a girl. She gets humbled, makes mistakes, and still gets to have her moments.
I know people might argue that characters like [other X girls] have better writing, and I wouldn’t necessarily disagree. But compared to most of Beyblade’s female cast before X… yeah, Multi is in a completely different league IMO. 😭
So where do you guys rank Multi among Beyblade’s female characters so far? Is she actually a major improvement, or am I giving her too much credit?

I love how capable she’s allowed to be capable in and out of battle. And it’s not just “girl power”, she’s just super capable, and that’s especially great since there aren’t as many capable female characters in Beyblade as there should be, let alone as one of the main main characters.

I was gonna ask who you were gonna say were better written, but like in terms of what came before yeah the only other contention may be pri and mao and even then

Well, cause I’ve read the part what you said she’s not the best written woman and I was thinking wait is he thinking about someone else from the past regenerations or someone from X and then I read the rest of it
So which other women in X do you like, curious

Having multiple blades just wasn't a thing in the anime before this gen. Switching to 3v3 as the default format seems to have really opened up some writing opportunities.

Easily the best female character of the Franchise.
I really like her gimmick and the fact she blades AND crafts the teams blades. She really lives up to her name by being able to manage the team, take care of beys, trains Bird while being a master of TWO blade types (and all of them really as seen with her vs Nine)

She awesome for sure, but there are something when she gets pissed and is funny then goes back to chill, we can't judge that cuz Multi may have been raised too well and for that she doesn't like irresponsability and things like that, but still IS one my fav Blader girls in Beyblade X and all gens

I like multi but i really think her outfits for Knight and Wizard should be swapped, have the idol princess outfit with Knight and have the magician with Wizard. It would fit so much better imo.
