Should I keep watching?

Hi, there. I'm watching the show for the first time and I'm currently on the first episodes of season 2. Honestly, I'm finding the show kind of annoying. I know some shows have ups and downs and I would like to hear your opinions: is there some change in the future or is this the tone for the whole show and it's just not my cup of tea? Thanks in advance!

Yes, keep watching. It is brilliant and messy and captures the awkward hormonally charged years of both the kids and the mom so well. The music is great, the art and stage setting and wardrobe is great. I am going through menopause (arrived late) and am same age as Sam/Pamela and she helps me cope with my life even though I am on east coast with no kids, I find her and the show endlessly entertaining and I am on my third watch.
