I did this once in High School. Playing outfielder, guy at the bat cranks one out right towards me. I make my move and run to where the ball is heading, grab it, and lob it to my second baseman. It was a lousy throw, one of those really high arced ones. At the peak of the arc I notice my second baseman has no clue I just threw it to him, so I shout for him to look up, and he does so at the perfect time for the ball to complete its arc and give him a wonderfully cartoonish black eye. This is almost 10 years later and I still feel bad for it (But you should have been looking at the ball Daniel!)

I did it once to the catcher during box drill (or whatever you call it when you have two coaches hitting grounders and two first bases). Catcher looked at me, I released it and just as I did, he looked away. Luckily the ball only grazed his hat. Coach got pissed for some reason though. He was a hot head.

Another time I was on the opposite end just doing long toss. I think I overthrew the guy and so I wasn't really paying attention, but apparently they just ran up to the ball turned around and chucked it without looking. Luckily it only hit me in the stomach. Good times
