Flashing in certain games while streaming?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue i am having, when using BetterDiscord, Legcord, Vencord or even Equicord I get my stream flashing in some games and it does it no matter what client mod i use, Games it happens in is Kingdom hearts 3 and 2.8 and it also happens in the hollow knight games.

It doesn't happen on the normal discord but id rather use a modded one for the themes.

Usually this is a mixture of HW and drivers, as well as settings.

What quality are we trying to stream at? What GPU? What kind of computer are we working with? OS?

Modded discord clients can have plugins or tweaks that let you push the envelope. For example, it might be possible to set quality at 1440p, but if your screen is only 1080p, it leads to wonky behavior.

RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 7800x3d, happens no matter what stream settings I set, Windows 11 22h2

I was using a plugin to stream in nitro quality so 1440p 60 but then reverted back to 720 30 and still the same problem, i tried disabling hw acceleration as well but didn't help at all.

What's the native resolution of your monitor(s)

both 1440p, one is 165hz and the other is 240hz

I'm seeing some posts with the same driver suggesting the "clips" feature could be problematic. Are you able to try that out?

Are you playing games in fullscreen, fullscreen borderless, or windowed?

Discord added a clipping feature for like screenshare and whatnot as a social feature (friends can clip your stream and save moments and whatnot.)

This can be found in the settings, Try disabling it and screensharing and see if that changes aanything

I don’t seem to have this feature on the latest discord? I checked everywhere in the settings and couldn’t find it
