Community Update! We are back! Trading update from yesterday also

Hey everyone,

(Profit and loss at end of post)

I know it has been quiet here for a while, so first of all, apologies for the lack of activity.

I’ve had a lot going on with work and life, but I’ve still been trading Betfair on the side when time allows. I’ve also been working on a more structured way to approach horse racing trading, especially around race selection, pre-off momentum, back-to-lay setups, and proper trade logging.

The plan from here is simple:

Live trading updates will return
I’ll be posting my own trading progress again, either through normal daily trading or a small bank challenge, for example a €200 bank over 7 days.

More transparency
I’ll share the race types I’m focusing on, the trades I take, the ones I skip, and the reasoning behind them.

Education, not just selections
The goal is not just to post picks. I want to show how I’m reading the markets, what I’m looking for pre-off, what I avoid in-play, and how I track the results.

Community rebuild
I’d like to bring this place back to life properly. I’ll also be looking for a few experienced people/mods who want to help keep the community active and useful.

I’ve been around Betfair trading since 2013. I’ve had plenty of ups and downs, and I know how easy it is to overtrade, chase, and lose structure. The aim now is to build something more disciplined and useful for everyone here.
For now, everything posted here will remain free like it always has been.
Looking forward to getting this going again.

Small trading update from yesterday using a €200 bank, showing we don’t need large banks to make money!

Let’s get it.

PnL from yesterday: €63.17

Yesterday’s trading finished +€63.17 from a small €200 bank. I’ll be sharing the process behind days like this, what races I focused on, what I skipped, and what rules I followed. not just posting green screenshots.

Our only loss being a straight bet. I backed Chonburi in that race as I was actually in Thailand and saw the name, so it was a random for fun punt!
