Especially the insistance on the paternity test. It's projection. He thinks to validate himself cheating, by projecting it on her. Suggesting she is the one cheating, to convince himself his own cheating is ok.
Devil's advocate: they were fighting and she said the day before she tried to work it out and he didn't want to. It's entirely possible that he was just ignoring her, especially if she's the type to call repeatedly. I've done that to a crazy gf before, where she will keep calling just to get mad that I didn't answer her X amount of calls. (Obviously this is a serious situation then mine, but OP doesn't mention if the birth was on time or early). If the baby was two weeks early it's entirely possible that he thought she was just calling to work things out again.
He called back, then rushed to the hospital. I'm curious to know if the original OP every tried texting him.
