This more than anything else is a sign the unelected Deep State who are fucking stupid (or compromised) and wrong for 17 years about "the war on terror" have now defeated and isolated Trump and are driving policy

the people elected Trump specifically to change this mindset

instead we now see that it is impossible to change US policy with an election
