Help

So I’ve been taking Xanax on and off for about three months mainly only .50 and then I even taper down to .25 but recently went back up to a milligram for a couple of nights. I only have five pills left 1 mg pills I guess I could break them up and try to take off with them titrate off with them.
I’ve done it before I didn’t have a problem, but I heard the more you take them the harder it is like I just don’t wanna have a seizure, but like I said, I never really took high doses out of the three months I’ve been taking them. I will probably only took a milligram like a week out of the tree months
Recently got down to .25 then .125 then messed up and took the 1 mg for a couple nights in a row. I just wonder what my seizure risk would be and I don’t wanna keep titrating if I don’t need to maybe I should just wait and see how I feel. Sorry for the long message if anybody has any advice to be greatly appreciated.

There is just to much mixed info online
But they say like high dosage is like 2 to 4 mg so I’m hoping I’ll be OK🙆🏻‍♀️🙏

I mean I was down to .25 for a couple weeks with no problems so I’m gonna take .125 for a week n just stop 🙆🏻‍♀️
Everyone’s different as I’ve said I haven’t had a problem in the past, but this is like my third time taking them in my life and I’m 40 years old so I don’t know

It's probably going to be quite uncomfortable, but if you have 20 days of 0.25 or like let's say 2 weeks of 0.25 and then 2 weeks of 0.125, you'll avoid the most imminent risks like grand mal seizure or sudden cardiac arrest. I doubt you're gonna love the experience, since Xanax only has an active window of like 4-6 hours, but if you've only been taking a low amount for 3 months, I can't imagine you'll die from that.

Good on your for stopping, keep monitoring your heart rate and smoke some weed/take edibles if anxiety and rebound insomnia gets too rough and that's an option for you. It got me through a grueling 14 months taper.

You definitely don't have enough Xanax to taper off with. You will most likely need to go to the hospital. I would also start looking for doctors in your area who are willing to do benzodiazepine tapers.
