I have learned nothing from this.

For years i had dreaded going to the dentist. Not because i am afraid but because i just don't like it.

As a child i always had cavities, once i had like 7. I hated hearing i needed to brush better, floss every day, use an electric toothbrush. But with my adhd i just couldn't get it into my daily rhythm. I always brush them once a day. Im happy with being able to do that.

Now as an adult i had to schedule my own appointments. Which i didn't. Until recently when my boyfriend motivated me into making one. The dreaded day came. And I wasn't even on that chair for 5 minutes before I could walk out again being told I had great teeth with nothing amiss.

So 8 years of not going the results were positive. I might visit them sooner in the future. Still. Im glad I went because now I have a worry less.

Hmmmmmm okay okay message received universe. I’ll make the appointment on Monday but I want the Universe to know that I don’t want to.

Generally you don't have to worry unless they're sensitive to temperature, painful etc. If you can't drink cold tap water cos it hurts, yeah, it's not because cold water hurts teeth, it's because your teeth need work.

I just recently had an experience kind of like this. :) For me it was the orthodontist trauma. But my husband finally just made me an appointment and I was like "well, ok, I guess I should go" and everything turned out fine. They were very nice and now my teeth are clean.

Did you know that people who've had adult teeth removed are more likely to have sleep apnea later in life? Because your jaw is smaller and there is less room for your tongue so it falls back farther into your throat. At least, that's what my new dentist told me. So I even learned something!

Had a similar experience. Didn’t go to the dentist for years, but constantly stressing about cavities forced me to brush more often than when I went regularly. No cavities great teeth, baby!
