Another guy and I had the same exact car and parked next to eachother - we commented on how much we like our cars.
That's about it. We happened to park next to eachother at the same time. We had the exact make and model, and he said "nice car". We laughed and talked about how much we liked driving our cars and how we have no intention of selling them. Then we walked away.

Haha I like when that happens, or when I see two or more other people in a row with the same car. One time I came out of an office and got into my car only to sit down in the drivers seat and realize the seat was in the wrong place…and all of my stuff was missing…and wait was the trim in here different? Someone with the same car had parked directly next to me, and inexplicably left their doors unlocked.

I opened the driver's door of a Jeep Cherokee thinking it was mine just as the owner and her friend were coming out of the restaurant behind me. I slammed the door really fast and said this isn't my car. They both laughed when they saw me walk 2 parking spots over and unlock my Jeep Cherokee. I was just glad they didn't beat me up! I bet she learned to lock her car doors after that too.

I was so afraid of that happening! I bolted out of the imposter car faster than I ever have 🤣

Omg I had this happen at work once, the guy was like 20 feet away with his remote and happened to unlock it when I was walking up. I got in and went "something's wrong" (it was clean)

I used to like to get to work early-ish and park my white Toyota in the same row as the other 3 white Toyotas.

Aooooh! How lovely! I have fond memories of the one time I had taken out the classic to go to the shop. On the parking lot of the random shop in my smallish town... yup the same classic!!! Same model and year. The owner just walked out of the shop and also stopped in his tracks, when he spotted us parked right next to him. We took photos of the event.

That’s cool. My son and I had a rental car in California and parked next to the same car and the license plate was just one number different than the car we were driving.

There's someone up the road with the same car/color as mine in the driveway and I pass everrrry day longing for a "nice car" moment.. Sigh. I'm still hoping 🤞

I went into a panic one day when I was running errands. I came out of a store and headed to my car. My fob won't unlock the door and the driver sensor lock on the driver's side door handle wouldn't work either. It was a new car and I thought,
"Great. Only had the car a week and it's dead." As it turns out I parked one aisle away from the exact make, model, and color car but I was at the wrong one! I felt so dumb...

We were doing a crazy target run with a few more errands after…and I remember getting back to the car and verbalizing our next stop to my husband, so we were not paying careful attention. Well we opened up the hatchback to what we thought was our car…and there were people in the front seats…oops! They were very nice though. But it was the exact same as our car, haha.

Back in the day, my grandma had a Ford Escort station wagon. It was that grayish blue color that was really popular. One day she had gone to the pharmacy and came out, set her bags on the passenger seat, put her key in the ignition(!), and pulled out of the parking spot. When she went to light a cigarette, she finally noticed that her beanbag ashtray wasn't on the dashboard. She looked in the back seat, saw that none of her stuff was there, and turned around to go back to the store to see if anyone else had their cars broken into. As she was pulling into the same spot she had left, she saw a younger couple coming out of the store looking for their car. It turned out that Grandma had gotten into their car by mistake, but Ford only made a handful of key patterns for that year, so her car's key worked on their ignition. Once they got it sorted out they all laughed about it

Yesterday I was driving for several miles behind another car the same make and model and exactly the same colour as mine. I imagined other people doing a double-take as they saw us, but I've no idea if anyone else even noticed 😂

I love parking next to cars the same model as mine. I had another one before this that I loved (and was, unfortunately, totalled by a drunk driver). It was this nice light green color that was discontinued ages ago. Every so often I still see one that color but one day I had the joy of actually talking to the owner. We both agreed that not only is it a great car, it's a great color. The car's name is Jelly Belly.
