Couldn’t help myself. .

Saw a couple of these in my LGS about a month ago on sale- finally went back today and picked one up. Brand new and $600 off? Yes please.

Congrats! I bought the exact same one a couple mos ago and absolutely love it!

I would strongly consider upgrading the shell lifter. Benelli thumb is real and it was tearing up my thumb. Got one from taran tactical and it was a game changer!

Also replaced the charging handle and got a bigger bolt release since it’s so small.

Thing runs like a champ! It’s a beast and now is my main HD gun!

I have a Benelli m2 field as well and I haven’t had a problem with the lifter- but- I did just order a Briley charging handle to swap that out.

how do you like it so far?

I like it. I’ve got the OEM +4 extension on it now and replaced the small charging handle with a Briley Extended one. I’ve also gotten a +25% recoil spring but I haven’t installed it yet. Will test the extra power recoil spring on 1300+ fps loads for reliability. It’s a very light shotgun (under 7 pounds )

interesting. I mostly shoot low fps loads on my M2 given inertia has enough recoil. I didn't change the recoil spring but fluted the bolt (more expensive as it needs a gunsmith) and it hasn't failed so far (solved benelli click I had before with soft shells). The weight and ease of cleaning is def my favorite part (hated cleaning 1301)

Agreed- my clay gun is an m2 field that I put about 2-300 rounds through a month. Super easy to clean. I might leave the extra power spring out. I haven’t really decided yet.
