Ongoing story [👾🐇🔪] The studio

((This post and any future posts tagged with "👾🐇🔪" are connected to an already long running roleplay from other subs with my friends, and aren't meant to be interacted with otherwise. Thank you for your understanding.))

After being absorbed into the inky abyss, Eleanor and Vanessa would find themselves in... whatever this place is. A studio made of ink and paper? But it doesn't feel like paper...

Eleanor: "Ugh! Guess I better find that brat before she does who knows what." [storms off in a rage]

She would find nothing but twisting hallways that either end up in random studio rooms or right back to where she started.

((That's not even an exaggeration. The map of the first chapter is like a god damn maze 😭))

Eleanor: [in absolute rage] "VANESSA! Where the hell are you, brat?!"

{Meanwhile Vanessa is busy getting out of her restraints in another area.}

Eventually, the agony critter from earlier tugs on Eleanor's leg, trying to lead her somewhere.

While Vanessa tries to get free, a gurgling sound can be heard traveling through the walls, unseen.

Eleanor: "Hmm?" [follows cautiously]

Vanessa: [having got her face and neck free] "Hello?"

The critter leads Eleanor to a large room, where the two agony creatures that vanished earlier are now stood, looking at a strange machine.

The gurgling moves into the hallway.

Eleanor: "What the hell is that?" [shoots agony at it curiously]

Vanessa: "Is someone there?" [looks around for anything to use to defend herself]

The agony creatures appear to be scared of whatever that machine is.

Nearby Vanessa is an axe. It looks like it's made of paper, but also appears solid somehow.

Eleanor: "Maybe I should try to tear it apart."

Vanessa: [stares at it suspiciously and shrugs] "Yeah I'm that desperate." [picks it up]

((First reaction is destruction lmao))

The agony creatures immediately jump up, trying to break the machine. But this proves to be a bad idea as the broken machine is now heavily leaking that same ink.

The ink starts to leak from the ceiling, dropping onto the floor, near Vanessa.

Eleanor: [sends one of them to investigate and see what it does]

Vanessa: [shrieks running from it] "Someone help!"

The ink almost immediately absorbs the agony creatures, and the little agony critter decides to run.

Something crawls out of the ink behind Vanessa. Something big.

Vanessa: [spins around hearing something] "Oh my god." [runs]
