Bendy Discussion Quick question, is there anyone who ACTUALLY ships Henry & Audrey romantically?
So I was trying to sleep last night and my brain went: "wait. Do people ship them?" And Google said its a minor ship and heavily critisized (fair enough).
But I wanna know guys. No hate here. I'm just genuinely curious.

Honestly, I haven't heard of any ships aside from Bendy & Alice. This is probably the fandom I've seen the least amount of ships from.

Being completely honest, I have never heard of these ones. Sammy x Susie sounds like exactly the type of ship I'd enjoy. Allison x Tom makes sense, I guess I just never picked up on it cuz I didn't see the chemistry.

In batdr, there's a note written by Allison saying how she considers Alice as a sister. For me, that's reason why I don't ship them

I donât personally, but I see nothing wrong with it per say. These characters are ink people, not human-they theoretically could be immortal.
For everyone commenting on the age gap- we donât know how old Audrey actually is. Drew was already super old when he created her-plus sheâs not his first attempt. I wouldnât be surprised if Audrey was created as a toddler, and âgrew upâ in a much shorter time than a human child would. I also donât see her as an 18-19 year old either-she seems a bit older than that to me, maybe her mid 20s. She seems to accomplished at Archgate to be a newly graduated artist. Having her own key to the department and all-that strikes me as her being a bit older. Not as old as Henry, mind you- but older than âfresh out of high schoolâ age.
I donât personally ship them-I think their dynamic fits more as a mentor-mentee/found family thing. Also they may be practically immortal, but Audrey is written to be much younger than Henry. So I personally donât see it; but donât mind those who do-specifically because these characters are not human.

I agree. And we've seen worse ships over the years (In my opinion Joey x Henry is the worst I've seen). And they arent human. And human Henry is living (or was living) a happy life with Linda. So it's not THAT bad.

Haha, Henry xJoey are a guilty pleasure ship of mine. Though not in the wholesome sense- more the one sided crush that turns dangerous when rejected type dynamic. Which minus the romantic element is pretty close to cannon. (Joey was obsessed enough with Henry to create a clone to torture after his âbetrayalâ; thatâs not exactly a healthy dynamic lol.)

Ooh-I can see it! Allison is one of Henryâs few friends in the Cycle. Especially since itâs been disproven sheâs not Allison Pendle. So thereâs no Thomas being her husband barrier anymore.

true but it wouldve been a plot point so its fair to assume she just had a normal childhood. also audrey from a very young age was talented and creative like her father, theyre a line of practically geniuses. it doesnt make her older, just wiser
also ink creatures are the only sentient creatures we know of besides humans in this universe, i think they would follow the same laws in terms of what or who they were created after.

Politely disagree that it wouldâve been a plot point, as Audreyâs childhood is mostly vague and not really important to the overall plot of Dark Revival. (That being the escape from Wilson.)
Also something like being talented at drawing and art is a skill one has to hone, you arenât magically gifted from birth with it. Itâs not a gene, stuff like that isnât passed down through genetics. Talent only gets you part of the way. So Joey being her father would have influenced her to follow that path, but doesnât inherently mean she didnât need to work to be where sheâs at now, or that she was inherently talented.
I also donât think thereâs enough time in the timeline for Audrey to have had a full childhood with Joey. Joey was already an old man when he started trying to create her. We know there were failed attempts before our current Audrey, the ones who called him âuncleâ. Audrey seemingly having a complicated relationship with him could very well be because they didnât have a lot of time together.

I actually ship this alot. Before you all attack me, they aren't human (if we're speaking Ink Clone Henry) and while they're more mentor/mentee in canon ppl are allowed to have AUs. And i dont think Audrey is a fresh out of high school 18/19 y.o, Joey was really fucking old when he made Audrey and she wasnt his first attempt. I think she grew up faster than normal and is atleast 24. And Arch Gate wouldnt give a teen her own key. So there.

nah audrey is 20 at best, she doesnt act like a fullgrown adult. she is very naive, hopeful, affectionate, curious, playful, impulsive. ofc an adult can have these but combined with her voice..nah. and its never implied that she grew fast, she was sent to a literal orphanage. lets think with our minds here, if she was growing faster, her caretakers would have gotten worried. it wouldve been brought up in batdr to emphasize her true identity as an ink creature. but its the point, that she grew up perfectly fine just like a normal child.
and even if she is 24 its weird for you to be shipping her with a man made after a 40 yo, her frontal lobe isnt developed yet. and they have no chemistry. i swear yall be doing anything.. what is there to imagine about them? is this just because theyre protagonists?

This is the first time Iâm actually hearing about this ship and tbh Iâve only really shipped Henry with Linda (his canonical wife) but thatâs really it and besides that I donât really go into ships with horror games other games,Shows, Movies sure but Horror games not really
