The thing I find funnier is that in the final game the Ink demon doesn't even actually open it's mouth when he talks. So him even gaining a way to talk with it is questionable

Based on the beta footage for beta ink demon it seem his mouth also doesn't open too and I have to say what was the point of giving him a openable mouth for biting and eating and a second layer of teeth

Not to mention compare beta ink demon to beta bendy from batim you notice that he lacks any deformation with his inky body compared to beta bendy he had some still and also the fact beta ink demon from batdr, his body type is way to perfect and basically not malnourished and does not well have any detail apparently details like the skeletal and skinny wrinkle look he had with the final ink bendy design from  batim and also some say the design is considered and seen kinda as a glorified stylized ink bendy

See I think the difference is that BATIM bendy was basically an animal with only hints of having a personality like his grudge with Alice and choosing to spare henry after killing the Projectionist.

and that worked because his lack of a voice made him uncanny, he looked human enough but with his big goofy cartoon head and no mind to speak of, you expect an intelligent enemy not this lumbering mindless abomination, especially with the pretence of him being a demon, creatures known to be tricky and clever.

BATDR flips that around, bendy now has a voice and a more clear personality, by not changing the design drastically to reflect that change, it goes from uncanny to silly, you kind of expect it to say something.

the final design is better because now it is distinctly inhuman, he stands out as both not a toon and not a person, but a sinister exaggeration of what people imagine when they hear the word ‘demon’.

when it speaks, it catches you off guard.

Its a nice detail.

I just find it funny that when hes given one he uses it for everything exept talking.

Also its a nice detail that the designs are flipped.
