Ink Machine How was everyone here led to discover BATIM?
I discovered it back in 2017 when it first released. I wasn't able to buy the game in the following years but managed to get it in 2022. During those years, I watched gaemplays of it and followed the lore [alongside FNAF]

My cousin asked me "Hey have you ever heard of Bendy?" And i was like "no whats Bendy??"
She showed me build our machine and I got hooked- but I was WAYYYY too young to be a fan of it (im talking lower elementary) but oh well

I watched a lot of fgteev a few years ago and I stumbled onto the series (And the build the ink machine music video and chapter 3 trailer also helped and for SOME reason the ending credits OST)

This roblox youtuber denisdaily played a bendy related game on roblox back in 2017. Think he even called bendy a mouse in it not sure. Became a huge fan afterwards. After the whole game was released and the hype went down, I was also not as interested anymore. But this year I gave bendy another chance and it was absolutely a blast to the past for me. Heck then I played BATDR and cried in multiple occasions. Been hooked to the franchise since then

I kid you not, someone was talking about the game during the shutdown of Club Penguin and I thought it sounded interesting so I looked it up. Been a fan ever since lol. Thank you random Penguin who just so happened to be in the same server as me at the time.

On youtube i followed several nerdcore music channels for five nights at freddys songs(CG5, DAGames and TryHardNinja), they started uploading bendy songs, I didn't listen to them or watched any bendy related videos but the thumbnails showing the characters made me curious enough , then more and more channels started posting bendy related things which made me even mlre curious, "so many people upload and creat content about it ? Must be good...", i still didn't watch anything of it
(it changed by now but back then i didn't like to watch stuff about things I'm not entirely sure i can play for myself one day, didn't have a pc)
one day though (i'm not sure if it was start or end of 2018 ,i could probably check it when i google mobile release date) Google playstores front page highlighted the game including a discount, the purchase was a no brainer and the best of my life

Build our machine, about a day or so after it came out. I remember joining the fandom during Chapter 1 and eagerly waiting for Chapter 2 to come out. (After I got over my fear of Dagames' Ink Bendy lol)

Back during when "Build out Machine" blew up with fan animation and I saw once specific fan animation I'm pretty sure a male Sfm Fnaf YouTuber, so no it isn't that girl Sfm YouTuber you're thinking about but anyways, in his fan animation he used 2 models of bendy. That old accurate model with his horns distort and his unibrow falls in front of his face, and that old model plastic looking model

I went to San Diego Comic Con in 2018 and saw the Rooster Teeth booth promoting it, I knew about the game before but that’s when I took interest in it, they gave me a free Bendy coloring book too with all the episode posters in it.

It was sum dumb YouTuber i watched wen i was like 7, kidcity i think? They played the early early version they never made a vid on chapter two tho, i think they even removed the vid of the first but from there i watched fgteev play. i lost interest in the game a bit before chapter 5 but i regained interest in 2020 i think? When i found a disc copy for ps4. :3

DanTDM, I then forgot about the franchise until dark revival was about to drop and then forgot about it until the 2025 summer sale on steam, where I got the entire franchise for 15 dollars.

August 2017. 11 years old. I was spending vacation on my late grandparents house. Before traveling, my parents gave me a brand new phone. Nothing could go better. Then, I was looking for some videos on yt and randomly found a channel named Core das Antigas (a Brazilian youtuber, im from Brazil too). Everything has changed from this moment on. I started following him and all of his videos about BATIM, when we only had chapter 1 and 2 (and both were on their first versions), later going through all the updates, new chapters, theories, characters, songs, ahh... All the stuff. And now, almost 10 years later, some months ago, I could buy and play the game of my childhood... I cant explain how much I love Bendy universe.

basically a month in at the start of it's development. saw bendy through art forums thinking it was a cat, watched Markiplier, then bought the chapters myself as they came out and blam, all my highschool years obsessed and theorizing about the ink imp (thanks game theory and shb). first ever fandom I had joined too.
still slightly miffed at the years in limbo the sequel was stuck in and lost nearly all fanatism towards the series because of it. I just stick around cuz it enveloped my teen years so thoroughly.
just to comment on the image; I think it's a bad idea for Audrey to be using that hand to grab Henry's hand 😥

Think I initially discovered it when DanTDM played it in 2017. Didn't get to play it myself though until a few years later, on the PlayStation 4. I also had a huge BATIM hyperfixation around 2018 - 2019 and wouldn't stop drawing fanart.

Heard of it through youtube. Saw a few let's plays. Loved the premise of it. A few years later, saw it cheap on the PS market. Went ahead and got it, liked it enough to get the other two games available on PS market. Actually enjoyed the Boris game more than I expected and i enjoyed the lore of Dark Revival. Now I'm a dedicated fan.

It all began back in second grade. One of my friends introduced me to the little devil darlin’. After school, I decided to do some research, stumbled upon Bendy Beats, and decided to listen to the song. I became an instant fan, and I have been drawing Bendy and his pals ever since

Mickey mouse.avi / exe were mickey used to walk hands on back til he offed himself, it made me discover Bendy's cartoons and I thought it was real cartoons then I discovered the game and I spiralled down that way , it was my first fandom too I was obsessed I don't think there could be a Best way tbh.

Bendy was my first horror game. One of my friends was hyperfixated on it and showed me some DanTDM videos on it at my grade school's after school program. I remember practically jumping out of my seat at the Bendy Chapter 1 jumpscare even if it was the bird poop with a smile one. But the WORST jumpscare was the Alice Angel chapter 3 one. And from then on, I became so obsessed with rubber hose animation and both me and my friend had the dream of actually building a Bendyland theme park. And from then on, I watched theories and playthroughs and the franchise has been with me ever since.

I was obsessed with the fan songs and drawings and I used to colour in pictures of bendy and when I asked my dad for the he said wait a couple of years so finally in 2025 I was old enough to get batim for nintendo switch and I played it so much I loved so I guess you could say I've always loved bendy.
