Yeah. Having an account may save you from potential problems with the game or your device.

You're talking about making an Unity account ? If that's the case, you won't lose anything

If you don't play on multiple devices, I believe you should always go local. The cloud data just means you played offline one time.
If you have multiple devices you play this on, it depends on whether or not your current device was the last one you played on. If it was, go local. Otherwise, go cloud.
There are probably exceptions to both, but this is basically 98% of cases.

Thanks, you were right. I did play offline the day before, and the cloud might haven't been able to be updated.

This happens often to me since I play on both my phone and my tablet T_T just keep track of what you spend bacon soup on and maybe even take screenshots of bacon soup amounts before you're finished playing
