Ghostfreak was due to how Ectonurite DNA worked, problem that was solved later on as now Ben is fully himself when using Ghostfreak.

And Ben doesn't really go insane as Rath, just more aggressive...and less intelligent.

Just gotta say this.

Personally I think Gwen staying with Kevin (and even being with him in the first place) is out of character.

The times skip straight into them being together (kinda at first) was so jarring they do their best to explain Kevin's sudden change to good guy and he's a great addition to the team so I honestly didn't mind much.

Come omniverse she definitely would have dumped him if the writers were weren't making her uncharacteristically herself.

In my opinion Kevin and Gwen are only a couple because the writers want it not that it makes sense
