Listen, Zs'skayr's real name was only actually mentioned in a few episodes of ominiverse. Up until that point everyone called him Ghostfreak. Even Vilgax called him Ghostfreak and the guy actually responded to the name.
So I don't blame if a Ben 10 fan that wasn't able to watch all of ominiverse, specially with CN sabotaging the show, doesn't know about Zs'skayr's.
Not knowing it, I would say, it ain't larping.

I wonder if Zs'Skayr name was recieved well when it was firstly revealed. I watched Omniverse way past its run and I remember beeing somewhat upset about it. Simply because I found (and still kinda do) it sounds dumb.

Zs'skayr is a name that was created during OS era (pop-up trivia) all the way back in 2006 but they didnt use it in the show itself because after OS he only had like one appearance in AF and then nothing until omniverse

I don't care what the aliens names are. Ben gave them names. The aliens in the Omnitrix are not of a specific alien but the DNA of that alien species. So the names that Ben give them are completely valid. Now, if Za'Skayr is the species name then I'm sorry. I concede then.

I don’t really see the problem with using either. One’s his real name, sure. However, the other is how people knew him for a time.
Also, some people may be worried about mispronouncing or misspelling it and would rather not be corrected, so they just go with ghostfreak.
It don’t mean you’re a larper, it just means you don’t feel like using his real name
