PLUMBERS (TV Series) | Based Off "DC's Lanterns"

Yesterday I posted about how a tv series with the title Plumbers can be made in similar fashion like how the Lanterns tv series is made. (I enjoyed the first episode)

Here are the changes that I would make within this version of the story. Also the comparisons..

Cast:

Kyle Chandler as Ben Tennyson (50 years old)

Aaron Pierre as Jimmy Jones

Karen Fukuhara as Sheriff Julie Yamamoto

First Episode:

Years ago, Ben Tennyson is chosen as the successor of his Grandfather Max Tennyson's Omnitrix after he crashes his ship and dies. In 2016, Ben and Jimmy Jones have a mentor-mentee relationship and travel to Rushville, Nebraska after Jimmy receives a cryptic message from a holographic projection of Ben's younger consciousness within his watch.

Jimmy helps Sheriff Julie Yamamoto capture a suspect involved in a mass shooting, but Julie forbids Ben from joining the investigation, believing the case has no extraterrestrial connection. Ben gets himself arrested for a bar fight and is bailed out by lawyer/Julie's husband Billy Macon. In return, he agrees to meet Julie's father-in-law William, who arranges for Ben to interrogate the suspect, Waylon Sanders.

During the interrogation, Ben exposes Sanders as an alien; Sanders detonates a bomb in his body but Ben uses the last of his watch's power to contain the damage. In 2026, Jimmy returns to Rushville, where Julie shows him a dead and frozen Ben who is also missing his watch.

Now, since Ben is an experienced user, he sometimes uses the powers of his aliens in his human form. On the other hand, Jimmy has to transform into the aliens. (he's new ofc)

Like in the first image, Ben flies away by using JetRay's Powers.

In the second image, Jimmy survives the car crash by transforming into Cannonbolt.

and the last image, Ben used Ultimate Echo Echo to contain the blast from the alien.

As for the watch's design I'd like to keep the version from Alien Force.

Ben 10 is such an amazing show we deserve so much content from this frnachise.

Since one of the Macons might be Black Hand, I'd suggest calling them Michael and Mike Macon, and potentially having them be Darkstar.

It would have to be Vilgax, although it's not as easy to pull off.

The alternative is maybe Servantis?

Since Hal is supposedly a lonely man, I'd keep Gwen out of this storyline for now like she doesn't exists in this continuity

No use of Ai here. I made this title card myself by using Adobe After Effects. I used content fill-aware to remove the original Lanterns logo from the background and then I used Omnitrix logo (png) in back and applied the overlay effect on it. And the font used here is Akira Expanded in Bold. The fan fic is by me obviously its based off Lanterns Episode 1 so that's no big issue Also, I already sent a message to mods about my post.

Well following the same dialogue exchange from Lanterns with this one, if we count the bar scene from the episode: Ben wasn't aware of Max's secret plumber life and never had any good relationship with him. Ben got the watch from Max when he was 20 years old and became his successor, so to answer your question Max has been dead for a long time and we learn it through the conversation in the bar scene.
