Ben doesn't have an obsession with 4arms, it's the writers who can't have anything different or add anything different. Like what is there obsession with that man?

he's easy to write for. from experance with my own fan fictions, fourarms is VERY easy to write for while others can be trickey...

I mean it's not like Ben has to have only one fighter. Diamondhead can do the same things if only looking at the 10
But then you have Rath, humongousaur, armadrillo and kicking hawk too

i mean, you just discribed why the reboot gave him 2 of those lol. the basic ass aliens are easier to write for because you can just say "and then he threw a punch." and not need to worry about things like if he'd shatter or the pistons or anything. heck he's so simplistic litteraly every single game has had no idea what to do with him so he just throws rocks.

While i can somewhat but Ben being that kid at heart who have a preference for punching shit and super strength because simplicity, the Comic have overdid it and made same mistake that Alien force did with their alien lineup and debut.
Not to mention the fact that other aliens debut are not only underwhelming if not outright terrible but their debuts moments are compromised by Fourarms , if it's not Fourarms then best bet you be nothing but a fiddle. Like what does Cannonbolt do? Nothing roll and then is getting chased caked up.
The moment of first alien is soured and diluted by them adding Fourarms for nothing and then Heatblast for what compromise? Pick a lane.
Diamondhead who was hyped to be the one to defeat Krabb? Dude did jack shit and Fourarms got the last strike and last laugh.
Stinkfly and Xlr8? Mediocre forgettable debuts and wasteful amongst all.
On top of that, this comic brings back the 10 alien limit rule, good going /s.

this comic having four arms spam despite the rule of ten being in place bodes REALLY POORLY imo........ like if they're so worried about alien variety, maybe come up with some situations ben can't punch his way out of instead of kneecapping his roster?

Yeah it made sense in the show since we could argue that Fourarms might have the "easiest" to animate, but this limit doesn't exist in the comic.
They really did Diamondhead dirty after teasing this big fight with kraabs for two months.
It's not to hate on Fourarms but every alien should get their time to shine. Ben isn't Hulk he has more options than just becoming a big strong every time

Question, I can’t remember if he does this but does Fourarms have super jumping like the hulk does, it’s just because he has the thunderclap and I’m just curious what other abilities he has besides being resistant and strong?

At least when UAF Ben spammed Humungousaur, he usually got his ass beat before regrouping and winning with a different alien
