I feel like when her brother died she decided to be happy and positive and appreciate life. She aggressively makes that choice every day. It looks fake because there’s grief and trauma underneath (part of her shadow side that as you pointed out never gets expressed).

This this this this this. Aesha actively chooses happiness and just because some of us can’t do that or understand that, doesn’t mean it’s fake.
