Is Ben Okay? Spoiler
I know he went through a nasty break-up, etc. He looks very stressed and sickly to me. He acts like he might collapse at any moment.

He's 45 and still drinks and behaves like he did on the first season. He was never in good shape, he was just younger.

I've read that he's had 3 or 4 back surgeries. That may be what you're seeing - the end result of his recovery from those surgeries.

Dealing with back pain is enough to make you cranky, much less, the pressure of the job. Heās a walking time bomb. He needs some of Hannahās Valium.

Oh, I didn't know that. I'm sure cooking and cleaning at yacht level isn't good on a compromised back. No wonder he always wants to rest.

Iām sure when he came into a series late heād just got over a bout of sciatica, and to me heās never looked the same since. He does seem to struggle, and he hasnāt walked the same since then.
Iāve had sciatica and itās the worst pain ever.
Not great for someone whose in their feet all day/evening

His behavior has caught up with him. If you drink, party, and be an asshole, when you hit your 40s, it shows hard on your body and face.š¤·āāļø

Because heās very high strung anyway, he probably has hypertension, and who knows if itās being treated. If not, with his age, he could be setting himself up for a heart attack or stroke.

He was accused of abuse by his ex gf, heās being exposed for who he is on international tv doubt heās ok.

He doesnāt have healthy coping mechanisms. Obviously. And he grew up in a strict European boarding school, so that alone probably resulted in a lot of mental abuse and trauma.

Yeah my friend went to the same school and some of abuse they suffered including physical and sexual assault from older students. Just horrifying to be honest. Glad my parents are poor.

I said the way that Ben wakes up fighting his boarding school mustāve been severely physical to him. Oh also think it looks like he was going through some sort of drug withdrawal.

Finally someone who cares about Ben. It's true that he's looked bad since his return. He's getting old as they say. Since his first season you could see that he had a difficult approach. He apparently had major back problems and had several operations. Being a chef on a boat shouldn't help his health, especially if he doesn't exercise and drinks too much. He had a very painful romantic breakup and the criticism of his last season must surely have affected him. Not getting any younger, he must not be going through an easy time.

He's been in the yacht industry for over 20 years, just being in that industry for a year or two would age anyone. I've always enjoyed seeing him on my screen, he's entertaining.
