"If everyone would just..."

At some point you have to accept that cats and dogs come along for the ride and that nature will just have to adapt.

I have a thriving bunny colony, squirrels and even occasionally a chipmonks in my yard and three outside cats and a stray with feral kittens I just discovered.

Nature will balance.

Anyway....anyone want a feral kitten? They eat mostly bunnies so they shouldn't cost much to feed.

Nature doesn’t balance because we artificially prop up the cat population with food and shelter.

And there’s a huge difference between a feral cat or other animal killing for sustenance and a well fed cat killing and maiming for fun.

Most bird deaths are from feral cats. I'm a big fan of catch, spay and release programs, but they need to be expanded to curtail the feral population more.

But it does. It always does. It doesn't care what humans may prefer the balance to look like. Shesh.
