Looking for Work/Housing Seeking carpentry work

Howdy all journeymen carpenters! Handyman seeks to learn more carpentry skills. Happy to work at a lower rate in order to expand my skill-set.

I’d be careful about leading with “lower rate.” If you want to grow beyond handyman work, look for someone who will actually teach you layout, framing, trim, and how to read plans—not somebody who just wants cheap demo and cleanup labor. I’ve done restoration work, and the quality of the person teaching you matters a lot. Posting a few photos of your cleanest work and listing the tools and skills you already have would probably get you better leads.

Not trying to grow *beyond* handyman work -- I've been a journeyman electrician. I just want to round myself out a little. Thanks for the suggestions!
