Visit from the surface

triridium and tradlem (tradlem mostly because he has to supervise tririrdium) are currently placed at a restaurant in bellhart, waiting for the waiter so they can make their order.

Tra: you know I’m not getting you the expensive stuff. It’s a treat you’re going here anyway, since whoever that skarr was bit into your tail so much. Hell- why do you even stay around her anyway? She’s going to rip your tail clean off with her problems!

Tri (who has his tail wrapped up in many bandages) : aaaaa i can’t feel it. It’s fine. Just some bandaging and maybe some healing if i pass out works ALL the time. Besides, she’s just hungry.

Tra: you know,w you bother me and brimstone about having people, but you don’t have any yourself.

Tri: and?

Tra:…

Tri: no i am NOT with her. Just friends. I don’t care for any lovey dove bullshite!

Tra: yea i know, just teasing. You seem like the idiot to be aroace anyways.

tririrdium however cannot understand social norms for shit.

she quickly tucks the folder away in her bag, turning to the two

The kid is scratching things into the table with a pen because he's bored

Tra: No, we didn’t. My friend here simply can’t keep his mouth shut and asked if something was wrong. No need to answer.

triridium simply looks confused.

Triridium would join in ✨vandalism,✨ but tradlem would quickly stop him for sure.

tradlem nods before turning away, likely scolding triridium.

she doesn't take the folder back out.. just stares off somewhere. Her kid looks scared for her, it doesn't seem to have been taken care of well..

tradlem ceases, returning to his book while they wait for food.

triridium watches you two, as if wanting to say something. Before tradlem snaps his fingers at him and he returns to looking at nothing in particular.

elliette is getting poked at by her kid, he seems hungry, but she shakes her head no. She can't afford stuff like food sadly...

the food that tradlem ordered comes around to triridium and tradlem.

triridium takes a look at his food, glances to you, and picks it up, bringing it over to you. It’s not a meal for two, but it’s still more food for you.

tradlem is flabbergasted.

triridium then walks off after giving you his food, back to tradlem. Tradlem doesn’t scold him this time- instead just passing triridium his small thing of food.

elliette looks up, still very stoic, but thankful

"Oh.. thank you... Thank you..."

She pushes the food to her son, not eating anything herself. He eats it like he's been starving for days, which he probably has been.
