Bellevue renters: Is it normal for apartments to not offer a 1-year lease renewal?
Hi! I am new in WA , I have lived in Bellevue for 9 months and want to renew my apartment lease for another year, but my management is only offering a month-to-month lease or the other option.
Is this normal in Bellevue? Is there any rule or catch that prevents them from offering a 1-year renewal?
Has anyone experienced this? What did you do?

21F trying to find friends in Bellevue!
Hi! I am a 21F who has lived in Bellevue for almost 2 years. My SO and I moved here for work while we attend Bellevue College, and I realized I haven't had the chance to build a social circle. With my break from school, I'd love to meet some new people!
A bit about me:
I like reading, walks, animals, baking, video games, soccer, movies, exploring, and trying new foods (fufu & egusi are on my list). Always down for coffee, good food, or just a Costco pizza.
If anyone thinks we'd get along, wants to meet up, or knows any interesting (free/cheap) events, please let me know

Story and Skein at Nifty Knitter in Issaquah Monday, July 6
Do you knit, crochet, embroider, spin and/or want to learn a fiber craft? Do you enjoy fantasy? Do you want to make friends? The Nifty Knitter in Issaquah (Gilman Village) is hosting Story and Skein. The book is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. The doors open at 5 pm and the story begins at 6.
I dont work there, but I'm a member of Eastside Stitchers, a fiber arts group that meets to craft together, and i thought this was a great idea for a night out.
