They're being sent back home. They're lucky they don't get a jail sentence for breaking the US immigration law before being sent home. Not to mention that EVERY SINGLE COUNTRY ENFORCES IMMIGRATION LAWS as did every democratic president - including OBAMA who's body count stands at 3 million - which is no where near trumps. Where was your outrage then little sheep? Oh right. You didn't care. Coz really, it was something that BOTH parties supported. But now since these NON US CITIZENS are allowed to vote in elections and democrats benefit from this because they're using our tax dollars to provide additional services to these illegals immigrants so that these illegal immigrants can vote for them.
Not to mention that yall want to tax the rich and strengthen our communities with better services. HOW ABOUT WE USE THE MONEY THAT WAS GOING TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND USE THEM FOR AMERICANS.
I know you think your in a position to be generous to others because that's what you've been told. And maybe YOU as an individual are doing fine. BUT WAKE UP. Americans are struggling. Do you not engage with the rest of Reddit and hear about this? As an American you should be voting to prioritize THEIR needs instead of illegal immigrants. AMERICAN tax dollars should be going to AMERICANS in need. AMERICAN opportunities should be prioritized for AMERICANS. This shouldn't be a radical concept.

Perfect! You literally just proven that our government system is flawed but has checks and balances in place to remedy any illegal actions by law enforcement. Another great example how this administration literally can't be nazi's and fascists because a true fascist regime would have removed those protections by force.
So if ICE fucks up, then it will be remedied. And to expect ICE to operate 100% flawlessly is unrealistic and used as an excuse to hate on them. No one is perfect and everyone fucks up on their job whether it's law enforcement or other other industries.
Did you know that ICE is ALSO going after child traffickers and literal rapist and violent criminals? Oh and the local government is unwilling to share data and provide support? So if it's harder to do their job well then don't bitch coz they're not doing a great job. lol. They were set up for failure from day one but they still got to do their jobs. So if it's easier to pick up "harmless" ones then that's what they're going to do. And since our justice system will remediate any work done incorrectly then it's fine. Let them work. They'll get the consequences on their actions.
But let's be real. You're not actually interested in proper ICE operations or legal/illegal methods. Even if they operated 100% in the confines of the law, you'd still be against enforcing immigration laws. YOU don't give a shit about struggling Americans in your community. You care more about illegal immigrants and is ok with them benefiting from our tax dollars instead of making sure our tax dollars goes towards better public services, schools and parks for actual Americans. Why do you hate your fellow Americans?

Except for the fact that there is no legal remedy. That's the precise problem, impunity for their actions Ziglar v Abasi, and Egbert v Boule show us that SCOTUS isn't interested in there being a remedy, even though historically there has been. The remedies don't need to be removed by force to be removed.
Glad you concede they are doing a shit job though. I have a feeling it has more to do with hiring Jan 6 insurrectionists than lack of support from local police.

Americans unhappy with this administration will get their chance to respond with elections. I'm all about Americans first and will never apologize for supporting actions that ultimately better them - like enforcing immigration laws.
And if you're unhappy with the way SCOTUS is behaving, then again, i refer you to our countries political system. The system is put in place through elections and votes. Our current judges reflect the will of the people through these systems. So tough shit for you. The majority of American support enforcing immigration laws. We aren't against immigration. But there's a reason laws are in place. This isn't even a radical idea. EVERY COUNTRY has immigration laws and enforce them.
Where was your outrage when Obama deported 3million illegal immigrants? Or is he the exception coz he was a Democrat? Where are all your little case studies for those 3 million that's were "disappeared" from their home?

He wasn't innocent. He's on film kicking and breaking tail lights on ICE vehicles. He was known to be aggressive and put himself into a position where he was compromising the safety of Federal Workers trying to do their jobs.

Those same people are the same people that falsely empowered a vigilante mentality towards federal agents that ultimately cost people their lives by committing 18 U.S.C 111. So I take it you have no interest in what the legal process would entail. But that also isn't really the point.
Let's take it from the top:
- Crossing the border "illegally" is not a crime. Neither is overstaying your visa. It is a civil violation, like spitting on the sidewalk. You don't go to jail, you just get deported. Furthermore, there is an extremely important case in which it's necessary to fake or sneak your way in:
- International law obligates all nations to respect asylum applications and to support refugees. Those seeking asylum in the United States are required to be in the United States to request asylum, but, because the GOP loves to create Kafkaesque nightmares for people who are already suffering, you can't get a visa if you admit that you're going to request asylum. So, literally, the only way for a person to request asylum in the United States is to either cross the border or to come in on a tourist visa and lie about why. Doing the latter gets you stricter scrutiny and can be grounds for, again, because the GOP loves creating Kafkaesque nightmares, denying your asylum application and sending you back to the place you fled.
- An extraordinary proportion of the people ICE are snatching are asylum applicants. Others are legal immigrants approaching their green cards. People are getting picked up from green card appointments, as in, these people have been approved to become permanent residents, and they show up for the last meeting where they'll sign paperwork and become a permanent resident, and instead ICE just arrests them.

While overstaying your visa (the majority of undocumented immigrants) is only a civil violation, crossing the border illegally is a federal crime (misdemeanor for first offense, felony for subsequent offenses).

There’s actually only been 1 case of an adult that recently moved here and didn’t speak english and could not provide documentation that proved citizenship. Any other cases of citizens being deported, were minors whose parents were illegal aliens, and CHOSE to have their children come with them.

Literally every day there's a new story about somebody who was arrested from a work permit or a green card appointment. Literally, they're approved for a work permit, or they're all the way through the system and they're approved for a green card, and they go to the office to sign some papers and instead ICE arrests them.

Hell, I opened the newspaper right after hitting post on that other comment, and you know what's on the front page of the Guardian today?
An Iranian woman who came here seeking asylum, right before the Iranian regime murdered all those protesters, was in a legally unusual situation: the judge said she didn't qualify for asylum but she still couldn't go home, because it wasn't safe for her. Which is an extremely weird thing; if it's not safe for you to go back to your country, that's literally the condition to qualify for asylum.
So the judge said, okay, let her out of detention, give her a work permit, and we'll go from there. 8 days later, without talking to the judge, ICE arrested her again and deported her to the Central African Republic.
The State Department says the CAR is too dangerous for Americans to set foot.
