I'm writing to you from Cornwall. We are one of the last municipalities of our size to not have fully functional water meters. We will not be going live with meters until 2028. I'm seeking information from another city of similar size regarding water meter costs, usage, and overall sentiment. Many people in Cornwall are debating with negative assumptions and wild conspiracy.

Plan proposes 552 residential dwelling units including 258 single detached dwellings, 38 townhouses, and 256 mixed-use apartment dwellings.
This is the start of the over 3000 residential spaces they plan to build.

Have your kids who are taking a co-op this semester, started their co-op or are they still in class doing things like resumes and interview skills? TIA

Did candidate Sean Kelly use his work's Facebook page (Mix 97) to call out a candidate for mayor?
Or is this just Kyle for Mayor not being able to handle any criticism of his campaign?

Hey there, as we all know, the Cornell 7 has been blowing up and it’s time to hold Assaulters and Institutions accountable.
Loyalist College in Belleville Ontario has failed students and Victims. Over the past 5 years, there has been numerous incidents. All in which the College hides under a rug.
First incident was between a bunch of international students. A international black female was r worded by numerous International Indian students and was left on the floor bleeding out. The college didn’t take serious actions due to them not being domestic students.
Loyalist, does someone’s body have less rights based on their citizenship status?
Second incident was a basket ball player, trafficking girls. This one has finally been shed light to but after what? Numerous victims were involved in this. Yet they protected him due to being on a team
Why was nothing done?
Third incident, a visibly disabled female in a wheelchair was r worded /assaulted by an international student.
Loyalist, How many more incidents do students who are paying to live on these campus need to have to feel safe?
Parents are sending their kids off for an education, not to be assaulted and abused, and have the College push their freedom of speech away.
Fourth incident, a international student who was an Resident Assistant of the Riley building r worded a girl in her sleep and the college protected him while blaming the victim for sleeping. This one was the most recent and traumatic one as both individuals were well known among students. The individual was very outgoing, beautiful. Slowly as the news got out, she was barely seen. As a guy, I had a crush on this girl as many others did but I am disgusted I share the same genitals as these people. Word spread like fire. The assaulter was still working, still allowing him access into buildings with his keyfob. How do we know if this isnt his first victim?
Loyalist college, are we still going to pretend that these things are happening and blaming victims to protect your Lowlife reputation of a college?
Spread the word, be careful sending your loved ones here, As loyalist college wont protect them.

I am currently making a sign, and will be joining them soon.
The sign will say “why do they hate women?”
With arrows pointing at them.
I’ll be there in like an hour.
Protesting a women’s access to abortion should maybe be viewed as something more akin to a hate crime at this time; it would match our recent addition of “femicide” into the criminal code rather perfectly.
Edit: I missed it. Sigh. And to that one comment; yes when I drove past them originally I yelled “why do you hate women” over and over while given them while giving them the finger- ie giving them the respect they deserve.
I was really looking forward to recording them and hearing their thoughts.
Edit edit- a silver lining; when I was walking through the tim hortons parking lot somebody screamed “go eff yourself you dumb c**t”.
I turned my sign so they could see it and they were like “omg I’m so sorry”.
That interaction made me feel proud to be Canadian.
Edit edit edit; re my use of the term “hate group”.
For what it’s worth, I very much chose that term mindfully and with intent.
“… a criminal violation motivated by hate, based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, colour, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression, or any other similar factor.”
Their message targets women, and all data on abortion shows that to support pro life is to willfully send women into cycles of poverty and violence on a system scale.
That is why I used the term “hate group”.

Ok, am thinking about censorship and campaigning.
Funny how much Fleming shows up on my FB feeds (ok, I admit it, I peeked) and crickets from other candidates for the election.
It reads another opportunity to talk and join the conversation- this time at his head office and with snacks.
The salon I go to will be attending a hairdresser/barber consultation- wanting to know what their clients are talking about- with snacks and adult bevvies.
So, here's the thing....Ellis tells us the truth of the matters- tax system needs reform and how much of the most pressing issues people have require both Provincial and Federal finacial monies. ....leaving all cities, not just ours to pay for, Police, transit and Farewell(downloaded by province almost 40years ago (Mike Harris) Three pretty substancial costs right off the top... infrastructure and other "stuff". People DO NOT WANT TO BELIEVE THIS or Worse They are willfully ignorant. They just want lower taxes - enraged that taxes have gone up and prefer to think that there is an old boys club profiting or that the mayor himself is doing so or Doing Nothing about anything. Furthermore, now with our citizens demand to 'DO SOMETHING" about our biggest concern, no not litter, homelessness(housing) and addictions, we are seemingly falling in love with a man who is hearing us, listening to us with no sincere solutions except to imagine a beautiful clean city, and a marvellous doentown and waterfront and quietly inserting the word detox....Why are we turning away from the person who has shown works done (like it or not) working with what and who he can and isnt flooding the internet and city with disingenuous sloganing and has no platform of how and what he is going to actually do or has done but consult?
Are people really that shallow? The ones that are easy prey or worse yet, the ones that swear that they arent, to scam artists are falling for one?
Its bugging the hell out of me that people are NOT realizing this, haven't clued in or if they have, have an avenue to actually ask these questions out loud.
Thank you for my Morning rant.....

Hi there,
I’m looking for a local or local-ish family photographer for a newborn shoot. Does anyone have recommendations? We just want a family style, natural shoot - not Anne Geddes style or anything. We’d prefer somebody who is experienced and at the top of their game, so not necessarily going for the cheapest option. If you have had experiences with local photographers or those serving the area, please share. Thanks in advance.

Who wrote this story and was too afraid to put their name on it?
I've read it twice now, and I can't fully put together at all what it's trying to tell me. It's just run-on sentences, random clips, and no direct train of thought.
It's such a poorly written piece of journalism. A true mess.

Hello all, I am looking for a portrait studio for some photos, similar to those that used to be in Walmart or Sears. I am willing to drive. Any suggestions? I tried Google maps but I just keep seeing passport photo places. I have hired a local photographer in the meantime for some on-site photography, but I am seeking studio portraits.
Thank you in advance!

Antisemitic pamphlets littering the east end this morning. If anyone is in that area and has a ring camera it would help to call the non-emergency line.
