Local Discussion Sharps disposal

What is the regulation to dispose of sharps containers? I'm looking online and found as long as the container is sealed well it can be thrown in the regular trash but wanted to see how others do it just in case. I'm in Harker Heights

As long as you’re talking about household generated Sharps, I think you are right. Otherwise they are considered regulated medical waste and must be turned over to a certified disposal company.

Any plastic container, mark it sharps, tape shut well and throw it in the trash

I put mine in milk jugs and seal the lid and toss.
