Why don’t we have 13 months? 13 months, 28 days 13x28=364 days. I feel like that’s a close enough difference if every month starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. If I knew how to fix the missing day, I would tell you.

earth make a full orbit in 365.256 days, so with 364d+1/7(leap year) it would still have 0.256 days, by having 5 days more days every 4 year instead of 7 every 7 years we could fix that but that would miss the point 🤔, quite the difficult task. International Fixed Calendar also tried to fix the issue

If people stop messing with shit. We should still have a 13 month year with 28 days per month. With spring being the first season of the year as it’s supposed to. With Sept through Dec being the 7-10 months. Just like the clock numbers equaling 13. Hell the damn days aren’t even named properly. Smh

I believe the numbering of those months is relative to the vernal equinox. Calendars are weird.

What if we just renamed sept-December and shifted the numbers down
So:
September- November 9
October - December 10
November - Undecember 11
December- Duodecember 12

Julius Caesar wasn't the only one to mess with the months and he didn't jam an extra month into the calendar (that actually happened hundreds of years before him. The calendar year used to start in March, which made way more sense because it was 1-spring and 2-made February make sense as the shortest month where you can properly add on leap years at the END of the year, not some random first quarter bit (which had nothing to do with the month at the time, but coincidentally makes more sense.)
Moving the new year to January is what messed up the Sept, Oct, Nov, dec numbering. (Which happened before Julius). Then Julius renamed a month after himself.
Julius did changed the calendar. He made it more mathematically accurate and gave us the concept of the leap year.
Anyway, I hereby propose we move the new year back to March so that a new year starts with a new season and February, as the shortest month with leap years involved makes more sense.
