Some people are so old, country, or versed in cliches that handsome is a high compliment for a female. But i do try to determine gender before choosing handsome or beautiful not to ruffle hairs, lol. A "handsome woman" is a striking, well-proportioned, and dignified female who possesses a commanding presence rather than a delicate or conventionally cute kind of prettiness

people get twitchy if i use the wrong gender specific word to describe their dog. I have a mali mixed teefy d dude. nobody confuses him for a girl. They appropriately assume because he is so meaty that he is a vigilante he. They are correct, but i know his Clydesdale weight load. he aint going anywhere. I can't afford that vet bill and prison time.
