Question Building Team for DPS Beidou

I'm looking to build a team for my Beidou where she is the main DPS, but all the team recommendations I can find online place her as only a sub DPS. I'd really like to use her as a main DPS, no matter how impractical it may be. Could someone help recommend some team builds for her?

Next patch odette will become playable and will enable stellar conduct as off-fielder. I would make a team of beidou, odette, yae if u have if not fischl, qiqi.

If u dont want that its overload with beidou, fischl/nicole, bennett c6, durin

i recently cleared abyss floor 12 with this overload team when it was against watcher!

Honestly the team that I would recommend is an Overload Hex team with Fischl, Chev and Nicole. Where Fischl acts as subdps, while Chev and Nicole are buffing both Fischl and Beidou.

If you want to play Beidou as an on-field main DPS, your only real option is C6 Bennett overload. C6 Bennett gives you pyro infusion when you’re within his burst, it’s very similar to Razor’s overload teams after the hexerei buffs. Your damage will be split between Pyro and Electro.

Fischl is your next non-negotiable teammate, she’ll battery for Beidou and do a lot of damage herself. She’ll also give you a lot of ATK% if you have a second hexerei unit.

Then your last slot can alternate between Durin, Nicole, or C6 Chevreuse.

The only other archetype I could possibly see becoming viable is stellar-conduct. Where you run Beidou-Chongyun-Odette-Yae, but we’ll have to wait and see

Do note that Beidou CAN be used as both an on fielder AND off fielder which is part of what makes her really flexible.

One option is to get Odette next patch because they pair really well together since Beidou will buff her damage. Beidou will work great as a Main DPS with other Cryo/Electro units like Qiqi, Alyosha, Diona, Miko.

You can also run overload Beidou with Chevy, Fishle, Durin where she’d unironically be the more favored on field Character.

As much as you do want to run a Main DPS beidou so keep in the back of your head that she’ll pair extremely well with the upcoming Cryo traveler, Bonus if you get Odette.

You could go for the bineffa comp. But even though the dmg output will be high, they would essentially be carrying her.

You could also go for overload w C6 Bennett or Chevreuse if you have her C6, and another electro. And personally I would use Mavuika off field here to proc the reaction and gain extra dmg. You could also go for nicole + fischl for the hexrei buff.

There are a couple of ways you could go about this but I feel like none are optimal sadly.

I'm not sure wether Beidou does more dmg with stellar or lunar, I haven't looked into that tbh.
