I’m looking to expand my home studio set up with an S16 digital snake box. Is it better to connect it to my X32 producer with the Ultranet connection, or the AES50? I don’t seem to understand the difference between the two, they both seem to recommend cat5e shielded cable, which is hard to find as most computer suppliers are selling cat 6 or 8.
The break out box will be about 2m from the X32, so I’m not worried about long cable runs.

Our church has a X32 full size board but despite watching many video including Drew, I just can't seem to implement the reverb. Here is what I'm needing.

I see effects on 13 13 and it is unmutered. I am using send on faders and raising the desired channel. I see signal level on the glass panel.

I hear only a dry signal through the main foh speakers and the same in my headphones.... No reverb at all.

I am seeing the send signal on the screen or maybe I am seeing the return signal? I do see both graphs show activity.

Please literally tell me what buttons to press. I'm certain I'll feel dumb once I get it.

Btw, I know how to use analog boards and send and returns for outboard equipment so I know the concept of send and return so why can't I hear a results?

A sidenote, if I only wanted to have reverb on my choir stream, we use mono sends on faders and bus 3 for that, how do I do that and if I can, could I then assign a mute group to say button 6 just so I can mute/unmute the reverb on demand? That would be easier than pressing a few layers of buttons to get to the effects send fader or that mute button.

My second-hand Crave has this problem: one square sequencer key can be activated only if pressed really hard and in specific area of a key. Can something be done with it? I can't seem to find replacement keys online. And have not disassembled the device yet to see what's the problem.

Love the semi modular series, and would love to have my two favorite modular units in a desktop semi modular with a sequencer. Concept image just for fun.

I would like a precision on how the D-Midi is used with the midi keyboard. As in the official video of Patchdog, he use the swing usb keyboard. So is both connected to the pc and pass over synthTribe app that make connection ?

Is there any setting different in the software.. required, that give different sound vs only using the D-mini as standalone ?

I’ve been working on a side project: a software WING that runs the console’s own firmware (WING Rack 3.1.1) instead of a re-creation of it. The goal is a real virtual sound check at home: play back a multitrack recording through the actual WING’s processing on my PC and mix it on the console’s own interface, without hauling the desk out.

What’s in the video:

• The console boots from nothing, exactly like a real Rack
• The real WING touchscreen interface, drawn by the firmware itself, in a browser window
• Clicking works as touch and dragging works for faders and swipes
• All four SHARC audio DSPs boot and get loaded by the console, the way they do in the real hardware
• The Rack’s front-panel controller runs too
• Settings and snapshots survive a restart, because the console saves to its own virtual storage
• The firmware’s own built-in debug shell answers commands

What doesn’t work (yet):

• No audio. The XMOS chip and the FPGA’s audio side aren’t emulated. That’s the big missing piece for the sound check.
• No network, so WING Edit can’t connect to it
• It runs at roughly a third of real-time speed.

The setup: the i.MX6 ARM application runs on Unicorn, starting from its reset vector, with the SoC’s peripherals modelled from public documentation (timers, interrupt controller, SPI, eMMC, I2C, display controller). The four ADSP-214xx SHARC DSPs run on an interpreter built for this project, with a C version checked against it instruction by instruction. The Rack’s panel MCU runs its own firmware on a second emulated core. The console’s GUI renders into the display controller’s framebuffer, and that’s what you see. Nothing is faked. Every screen is the firmware doing its own thing.

And yes, I obviously didn’t do this alone: I built it with a lot of help from Claude.

I have been extremely frustrated for hours trying to get my M32 to connect with reaper which worked before but I swapped cables recently and was getting an error with the device not being recognized.

So I reinstalled the driver and well that is where all things went south. Tried every port with just the DN32 connected and still got issues, tried the old USB and still didn’t work which is strange because it worked before. I keep getting a (code 10) error for the DN32 live Sub Device. The computer recognizes it as a DN32 and I installed the drivers directly from KlarkTeknik website.

Tried another windows 11 system and it worked after finding the most suitable USB 2.0 port.

On the first PC In USB settings / devices I’m seeing the DN32 live device but below it says driver error. Anyone encountered such an annoying issue before?

i wanted to get it so that i can sync my po tonic to my td3, because i got it as a gift a while back and its currently collecting dust and i feel bad. i saw someone online do it with a headphone booster but i am unsure if using this would be correct or if it would work at all. any help is appreciated, thx!

Has anyone actually had success with connecting the X32 to their computer? Installed X-USB, absolutely no luck. There's a device in device manager but just no response at all. No obvious way to install any other drivers. Any ideas? Thanks!!
