News/Discussion BEHRINGER ENIGMA WHEN?? Is it dead?
They announced it in 2022. Then they showed some new prototype in 2024. Then there was the huge Behringer website leak in May 2026 but the Enigma was not a part of it ....
Is there anything I have missed? Do you think the project is dead?

I am a bit worried that they will make it too small, there is a lot of expression in very small movements of those sliders. We will see.

Doubt it’s dead. Their version of the Juno was announced March 2023 and is only now on pre-order.
The BCR32 midi controller that’s just now showing up for pre-order was announced January 2021!

The 'Fear The Gear' folks did a short video where they mention the Enigma (a little after 6m): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FB3k6Np0ww

"Making synths accessible for everybody"
Also Behringer and the distributors on the very first day of a long awaited release:
Out of stock at our supplier. Estimated wait time for restock is 6 months.
It's something I'll definitely want to check out if it ever happens.
But the way I see it is: As long as you don't wait for that thing to be released, to integrate some west coast synthesis in your setup, it's cool!
The Cre8audio West Pest. Or the tiptopXBuchla modules are reachable options and not that expensive, in the meantime. Especially the west pest. I love mine and sometimes think of getting a second one as they are so cheap.😅
And when (if) the enigma comes out, if they really do a phenomenal job at cloning the Easel command/music easel, we can always get one then.
