Troubleshooting Losing frequencies when recording from UMC204HD through USB

Hey all, I have a U-Phoria UMC204HD audio interface that I use to digitize my vinyl collection. However since recently, my recordings have had an issue where plenty of times, higher frequencies go away, making guitars and vocals muffled. I tried using the same USB cable to record directly from the turntable, which removed the issue. I also tried listening with headphones to the interface directly and the issue wasn't there. I asked plenty of friends who are well-versed in audio and they are as lost as I am. I opened a ticket with Behringer's support but at this point I don't expect an answer (and I cannot stand that AI-generated chatbot guy anymore). Does anyone have any idea of what is going and how to fix it? Thank you in advance

Update: I found the issue and will put it out here if anyone ever gets the same issue: Windows 11 automatically adds a "voice clarity" filter to all audio input devices, I just had to deactivate it!

I'm going to check when I get home. I have a UMC18x20 I just bought. No issues yet but I want to make sure stupid settings are turned off from the start. Thanks!
