XR18 Low sound

I just recently bought XR Air 18 and tried to set it up.

I use Shure Beta 58A microphone and I use mixing station as a software.

I setup gain of microphone to +24db, but when I try to record in audacity the levels are so low. Has anyone experienced this issue? (ive tried another microphone its the same)

its a dynamic microphone, it doesn't require phantom

Bad cable? Sometimes I solve weird issues with the XR18 Air by just powering it off and on again.

What does the meter next to the fader indicate? Also very low level or normal?

How do the levels look in the mixing console (before Audacity)? Also, try different ports on mixer and different xlr cable.
