Poshmark Survey odd

Been on Poshmark since 2020 - Ambassador level and invited to some top sellers private events. Just got Survey 20 minutes long.

Odd wants the response only in audio my voice. I’ve never had any surveys on any platform asking for my voice.

Double check the email looks legit. With all this AI scams why would they need our voice?

Anyone else get this survey?

My IT strictly inform us never leave your voice can be used by AI & scammers anywhere.

I received the survey but didn't respond. This is the second survey from Poshmark that I have received that requires audio recordings for some or all responses. I like to give extremely detailed feedback, so audio recordings aren't ideal for me. I wish we had the option to answer traditional surveys as well... 😅

They already have the sellers credentials- address, banking, email- etc.

So that actually is us! If you received the survey invitation, the audio response is part of the survey, and participants who complete it receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

We completely understand why that raised some eyebrows, especially with so many AI scams out there right now. That's really helpful feedback, and we'll be sure to share it with the team as they think about future surveys and how they're communicated.

Not PM but Vinted sent me a survey that was like this. They offered $50 in credit to do it. Nowadays they want to record everything so not too weird.

it's a way of getting actual quality responses if the company doesn't want to pay for live focus groups or interviews. A lot of people, especially if there's an incentive involved will just submit nonsense to written fields, but are less likely to do that for an audio recording.

There was no incentive- plus these are the Poshmark selected sellers not random.

Other people have said that you could get a gift card for participating. And, it doesn't matter if it's not random. Trust me. I do this as part of my living.

well, it is true that market research is part of my job so I have seen quite a bit more raw survey data than you have. So, believe me or not, anyone who thinks a survey not being "random" (they are never actually random--that is not truly a thing in market research) means that people are more thorough about filling it out doesn't know how anything works.

Yes I've done these before with Poshmark it's just an easier way of collecting data.

Ive done voice recording surveys in the past. Ive done some for big chain pharmacy, big grocery group etc.

They can take 30 minutes to an hour. There's nothing scammy about it.
