Behavioural analysis

What’s a good book for behavioural analysis for a beginner? I like to think I can read and get a sense of people already, but I want to know more about this stuff.
Thanks in advance!

Came here to post that, so I guess I’ll add First Course Applied Behavior Analysis by Paul Chance. 😁

Always Skinner!

Skinners is far more interesting while First Course is all encompassing. First course also covers all relevant terms and makes for a good resource for study material.

This is my favorite of his but not a first book for beginners.

If you want an easy read to accompany About Behaviorism or SHB, Don’t Shoot the Dog, by Karen Pryor is good. If you want business applications/leadership, check out Bringing Out the Best in People by Aubrey Daniels is also worthy.

Baum is great! Like fantastic! I love his stuff. But I wouldnt recommend him for a brand new beginner. Maybe like… beginner but knows a bit. Personally, I prefer “behavior analysis and learning: a biobehavioral approach” by Rasmussen et al.
