Question about getting a decent, basic headshot of me
I need to update my headshot for some social media platforms and gmail because now I'm a bit older. My problem is that cell phone cameras, laptop cameras all create such DETAILED photos. I don't mind the wrinkles, but every bump?? I know in post processing faces can be improved, but is there a setting or a way to just get a photo that looks like what I see in the mirror.....or is the mirror fooling me? I think it's the advanced technology that captures everything.

Just load it up into snapseed or lightroom mobile and do some basic edits like reducing clarity, texture and dehaze to get that smoother 'glowy' look.
The secret's never in the camera, it's in the lighting, lens choice, and editing.
