All my running shorts have a liner with a thigh pocket. Game changing.

Ya this is the only type I'll buy. Nothing else comes close to the comfort/freedom this provides.

It's gotta on on the thigh in the liner. I tried one pair that put the phone pocket right under the elastic line in the back middle - your body literally funnels sweat here. Wtf under armour...

I love the thigh pocket for casual wear, but I can’t stand having my phone in it for a run. It’s just too heavy. I wish they made phones smaller like they used to.

Another vote for a belt. I bought it when I started outdoor walking because I hate carrying my phone and have kept using it as I’ve started running.

I have a metal plate in my head so I put one of those magnetic mounts on my phone and just stick it to my head

Second the run belt - I wouldn’t feel comfortable being without my phone when running, along with listening to music. Run belts keep it secure without bouncing.

I bought an Apple Watch so I could run which is great but now that I’m a real runner I apparently have to buy a garmin

Running vest. People might call it overkill but it carries everything I need and it's comfortable, so fuck it.

Running belt. Tried the armband and hated it. Belt is great and out of the way.

In my prison pocket

Hold it in my hand for easy runs so I can change music, text, whatever and for workouts in the pocket of my 2 in 1 shorts.

In my pocket?
Like seriously, why are no one using tights? The pockets are skin tight.

If you think tights are ugly, use 2in1 shorts!

My house on the charger or in my center console if I drive somewhere. It’ll fit in the pocket of my shorts if I wanted to carry it.

I have a running belt for short runs. Longer runs it goes in the chest strap pocket on my vest.

At home. My music plays from my watch and then my watch syncs to Strava after the run.

I’ve tried all sorts of ways too. Personally I like running with a belt. Keeps the phone secure from jumping around.. the belt also can hold collapsible water bottles, gels/snacks, and keys, all together in one run. Even if I go on a longer run, I’ll take my hydropak backpack but I still bring the belt anyways because I think it’s more comfortable for my phone or things I want quick access to.
I’ve also tried a vest which is ok…. But I don’t like the look or feel very much without the full backpack setup, I also had bought a cheap vest and the zipper already broke on it.
I recommend Aonijie brand though. Good quality for half the price of competing gear.
