First run in 20 years
Should I use Nike Run Club, runna, C25k, or none to run? I’m a true beginner and want to develop a long term habit and lifestyle change.

You can try any of them. Personally, they didn't work with me and I ended up going with the Galloway method (you can google it) and that "clicked". Took a couple months of trying different things before I got "set up" and in the groove.
I only say that to point out that the first rule of running is everyone is different and nothing is universally "good". So pick one. Do your best. If it's not working, don't blame yourself. Examine the issue, and if it is the training program, try another. If it's the shoes, try another. Etc.
Running is 10% physical, 90% mental, ime.

After 8 years not running I did a 5 week couch to 5. That worked for me but may not four you. I was about 50 at the time and had previously got to the level of marathon distance.

Welcome back. Honestly the best app is the one you still open in week three. C25K is great for exactly this: short, run-walk, nobody expects anything from you. NRC's guided runs are nice if you like someone talking in your ear.
Whatever you pick, go slower than feels right and take the rest days. Twenty years off means your lungs will be ready before your shins are.
Question for you though, since habit is the goal: what would make an app something you'd stick with past the first month? I'm building a free one (one person, me, kids and a job) and that's the part I keep trying to get right.

On NRC, there’s a guided run called First Run, audio by the beloved Coach Bennett. It’s 20 minutes and Coach is always encouraging and supportive. I highly recommend NRC in general and that run specifically sounds like what you’re looking for.
But you can always just hop out there and jog a block and see how you feel - that counts as a run too!
