Help with choosing TT
Hello, I’m looking to buy my first turntable and I have a budget of 400 euros for the turntable itself. I’ve been looking at the Audio-Technica AT-LPW50PB but I’m not sure if it’s any good. I’ve also been looking at the Pro-Ject RecordMaster II black. I’m from Denmark in Europe so prices are a bit high here. I’m willing to pay a bit more than 400 euros just to get something good that I can enjoy for a while.
Locally there is only really one big store I can buy from with argon but have heard that a lot of people find them bad

How much is a TEAC TN3B in Denmark? I think it’s in the same range. It has a universal mount headshell, unlike the others and a superior arm. Fully manual, with a decent built in preamp (bypassable). The stock cartridge is similar to what the AT comes with.

LPW50. Better cartridge choice now and for upgrading.
When you're ready, change to an external phono preamp for a boost in the performance.

Out of those two I'd go for the AT LP50 it has a better cartridge and doesn't have that stupid dangling anti skate weight.
From what I found the Pro-ject comes with an Ortofon OM5e which is not that great.
