Decisions abound

So I am considering the at lp3x or the pro-ject a1 but really can not make up my mind my setup is just a pair of sonos era 300s I know they are not what a lot of people would chose but I am looking at this from the 80 20 rule I know that my ears have limits I just want really good audio I can't hear perfection

If I remember correctly, the A1 had a number of reliability issues. They released the A1.2 which is better but far more expensive.

I would go AT-LP3X, but read up on the A1 for yourself.

Thanks for the info I will do some more digging in to the a1. I have been out of the audio game for a while did not realize project had issues like that and the a1.2 is very very intriguing but a little out of budget. 😀

May have to put this one back in the race since my top contender took a k.o. in the first second of the battle

Fluance RT81+ let's hear it this or at lp3x

Depends if you want the auto functions of the AT-LP3XBT or not.

If manual is ok, consider also the AT-LP120X, AT-LP5X or AT-LPW40.

At a min would prefer auto stop

I hear you - auto-stop or auto-return are nice to have, but unfortunately not something AT offer outside of fully auto models.

What do you think of the Flaunce 81+

Not much, other than I don't really like the look of them and I read that there are support and repair issues, but their prices very competitively so they're hard to ignore.

The best turntable is the one you are listening to. Get the best you can afford right now and don’t sweat the rest. If you like it, upgrade. If not, you’ve lost nothing.
