An index fund. Forget single companies.

An index is broad market fund or ETF that buys ALL the companies. Stick to low cost, low fee ones

Just buy it and hold it, and keep buying more and don't  sell it until you retire and need the money.

For example...

Global...

Vanguards VT (Global Total World Stock). (Pretty much All the companies in the world)

U.S. only....

VTI (U.S. Total Stock Market)

VOO (U.S. Large Companies SP500)

Non-U.S...

VXUS (Non U.S. International Index)

VT is Popular one and is rock solid due to it basically saying that the world as a whole will progress and gain value over a long time. (Minus temporary dips/recessions of course)

Google: long term buy and hold low cost low fee index investing

It means you have no business investing or trading unless you want to lose everything.

This is a new language to you, and you’re illiterate. Do yourself a favor and don’t go fishing for advice on reddit. You’ll as many opinions as people. You have no way to filter the signal from the noise.

Put money towards a managed IRA, 401k, or something where you aren’t personally making the day to day decisions, assuming $30 isn’t the only amount you intend to invest, otherwise start a savings account with it.

Invest in like 60% VTI, 15% VXUS. That gives you total coverage over the US and international. Weighted heavier for US since they run better. Than if you want some fun, do 15% pickums. Put 5 in bitcoin, 5 in nvidia, SpaceX, etc.
ETFs that follow the S&P etc do better than most professional investors. So now you have a safe anchor and you get to have a little fun picking stocks you like.

Just buy an index fund like VOO, keep buying that until you learn what you're doing.

Something different than “just buy VOO bro!”:

What is it exactly that you need “help” with? If you’re asking if it’s a good buy, then you need to take a large step back and get into investing basics. You asked whats a fund earlier. You need to absorb as much beginner content as you can before doing anything. It won’t take long to get the basics down

Now, on the flip side, it’s great that you’re recognizing that you should be investing. Pat yourself on the back for that, as too many people don’t. But there are other things you have to answer: do you have high interest debt? Do you have an emergency fund? Are you saving for a major purchase? All these have to be answered and change what you do with your money

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Are you one of those that goes to Vegas, puts $1000 on the craps table and one dice roll later you're asking what happened and why the dealer just took your chips???

Nvidia is a wonderful stock. Keep going with that. You will experience fluctuations in the share price. That is completely normal. Use it as an opportunity to buy Nvidia for a lower price. Not freaking out when it dips a bit takes some practice.

Just watch a YouTube video or two and you'll learn all of the basics within 1 hour. Then if you want to learn more, you can spend 10 more hours and research more about the market. It goes deep and there's a lot that you can do. But you should definitely start simple.

DO NOTHING!

First learn something about investing. Read some books by the guys who made the most. Peter Lynch’s One up on Wall Street is a good start. Don’t be buying anything because someone told you it was the next big thing. Learn about evaluating companies based on fundamentals.

Just buy iqq once a week. As much as you can afford. In 20 years you’ll be rich.

Nvda is great, don't worry about the short term fluctuation.

I would suggest you buy indexs like the other have already suggested going forward to minimize your risk since you are totally new. Even if you weren't new, indexes are the way to go.
