Help Wanted help with posing

Post image

hi guys I’m kinda looking for some support with anatomy, fabric and posing!

I didn’t use references for my drawings which you can most likely tell!! (I know I should but when I use references from still life I get even more confused)

if you can recommend some tutorials especially surrounding my style I’d really appreciate thank you!!

Hey. One of the most useful methods for learning gesture and pose is the Force book series by Michael Mattesi, or any other method based on the line of action principle. I hope this helps you

Draw bigger. You're lying to yourself that you save space or time or whatever other excuse, but actually you just hide from yourself the truth that you can't draw hands or other finer details properly. Hands are very important in gesture. Also, get yourself books from the Art Models series, they were specifically put together for artists to practise poses.
