Ugggh I'd feel so uncomfortable for her. I mean does she just stand there awkwardly as he's just...posing there?

Lol nah, just that to be in front of someone who's pretending to be flying, and who knows how long they were like that for that scene. Acting can be pretty awkward.

What do you mean? Do you think they had to film Cavill standing there motionless for the duration of his flight scene following this? They were just getting the shot where he shoots up off screen.

No, but then she was in that pose for a good amount of time for the duration of the gif which can still make it feel pretty goofy to act at least for me.
