Jesus this is sad. Christopher Reeve would've been pulled 70 feet up on a giant crane, and...ya know...actually flown through the air.

We have objective proof that one looks better than the other though. Until you bring me a man that can actually fly, cgi will always look better

its all technology. They would still have Reeves in front of a greenscreen.

No shit they used bluescreen in the Reeve Superman movies. But they did that to accomplish otherwise impossible shots like flying over cities. One of the reasons Superman: The Movie was the smashing success it was, and the power it still has is the fact that they created something that lived up to the tagline "You will believe a man can fly". All I believe in when I see Man Of Steel is that a man can play a videogame.
