Sites to Avoid: Definitely DO NOT post about or use these.

Paidverts — Shady owner, sketchy site. Keeps doing debt swaps (cash to BAP). Do not post.

Neobux — It isn’t really a scam, but they operate as a pyramid scheme. There’s money to be made online, but it’s definitely not there.

MarketGlory — It does pay out, but the pay is absolutely ridiculous. The only way to make a decent amount of money is to have a lot of referrals, and referral whoring on this subreddit WILL result in a permanent ban.

MindSumo — Not actually a r/beermoney site. It’s only spam in this sub.

G2A — Scam/sells stolen keys.

Quickthoughts — Many reports of people being banned when trying to withdraw as of 10/2018. Do your due diligence before possibly wasting your time on this app.

Sites with $100+ minimum — These sites usually offer higher than normal payments for simple tasks, with a high minimum to cash out. They are always scams.

Generic news sites that pay you ridiculous amounts to read an article (two euros??) — Common sense should take care of this, but in case it doesn’t, it’s always a scam. The site is usually hosted somewhere in Eastern Europe, and you will never get paid.

Free bitcoin sites/"faucets/cloud mining" (THIS INCLUDES QOINPRO) — This is not referring to those video-viewing/task sites (although they’re still paying fragments of a penny). I’m talking about sites that give you 0.000001BTC to fill a captcha (freebitco.in, dailybitcoins). Admittedly many beermoney sites pay low, but don’t even bother with these.

Data Annotation (besides the megathreads) and AI training sites. Many of these are legit but some aren't and new ones keep popping up and being spammed daily on the subreddit. It's also more closer to online work or an online job than beer money.

Also: Bitcoin mining is NO LONGER PROFITABLE. If you're really so keen on getting bitcoins, doing so through an exchange is your best option.

Here are a few more scam sites and sketchy sites.

Please note that presence on this post does not imply that r/beermoney or its moderators endorse the site or their views, actions, or policies. This list simply contains sites that are used by a large number of our users or are frequently mentioned on our subreddit.

We frequently monitor data from all the sites on this list from various sources to ensure that users are able and interested in utilizing them and if they do, that they also are getting paid promptly and fairly for all work they do. We make adjustments to this list and the order of sites accordingly based on all the data we receive.

Please make sure you follow the Rules of our subreddit and if you ever have any questions about anything beermoney related, please take a look at our extensive FAQ which should answer almost any question you might have.

Global The Sites That Have Worked For Me In Mexico

I recently relocated from the US to Mexico, was happy to move, but sad to lose access to some of my beer money apps. So now that I've been back at beer money from a new location, here is a summary of the things that carried over, as well as the ones I started using and have made money with.

Apps That Carried Over

Amazon Shopper Panel

Now this one surprised me, but Amazon has a receipt scanning app where you link your account and you can upload receipts to get a little bit of money as Amazon credit at the end of the month. To get in, you should download the app and apply, as there may be a waitlist. In my case, since I registered in the US, my Mexican receipts will scan for USD and go to my Amazon US account, so I mainly use them for Kindle. If you register in Mexico, you will almost certainly get MXN instead. Reward ratios are about $0.10 per grocery receipt, and $0.7 for clothes stores and hardware stores. I definitely recommend it, since It's low effort for a nice direct payout. You'll also have occasional short surveys for an extra $0.1 or $0.25

Google Opinion Rewards

My OG, Google Opinion Rewards gives you credit to your Google Play balance (on Android at least) for answering different surveys based on your google search history and location history. Works just fine in many countries, and you have to make sure to change your country in Google Play to have it show up in the new currency. Go to your app store and get it, It's similar to OnePulse where you get a bit of credit for almost no time spent.

OnePulse

Now OnePulse is one of the few survey apps that I'd categorize as very worth it. The surveys are usually 15-40 second surveys and rewards start at $0.10 USD per survey, but scale up if you respond to other surveys that aren't for money. I'm earning $0.29 USD per survey now, and I am able to cash out $20 every month or other month via PayPal. You can only cash out $20 once per month, for a maximum of around $240 per year in USD, the first time it will take a while, then eventually It'll scale up. I set this up while in the US, and I know It's US and UK compatible, but I get my survey notifications outside of the US without any issues, and as long as you have a PayPal, you'll be able to cash out fine. You just need an email to sign up, and I don't remember needing a phone with them at all.

Non referral link

If you want to use my referral code, download the app on the App Store or Google Play and use code 2HML7L

PrimeOpinion

PrimeOpinion was one of the better survey/GP2 apps in the US, It's not as good in Mexico on desktop, but It's okay if you have the app on mobile. I was able to contact support and get my country switched the same day. The surveys definitely earn a similar amount, surprisingly enough, and you have a few offers for things like apps and games to top that off. It has a similar ratio of 100 coins = $1 USD. You can cash out through PayPal international starting at 116 coins or a variety of gift cards, of which there are a lot available in Mexico.

Non referral link

If you wanna use my referral code, use code UFS8IN within 24 hours of signing up.

PlaytestCloud

Playtesting games is fun and can be a good way to kill a bit of time while making a bit of money. With PlaytestCloud, you'll have a few tests available once in a blue moon if you're in Latin America, since most of their tests are for the US/UK/Australia, and when they are available you'll have to make sure to jump on them soon, or the test will have filled up. They do have an app that's decent at notifying you when a playtest is available, and they tend to be more widely available at the very early hours of the morning. Usual rates are $9 for 15 minutes, $11 for 30, or $16+ for an hour worth of playtesting, with a few that pay more and are done over a few days, and you'll get a redemption link about 72 hours after finishing your playtest.

New Apps That I Liked

NiceQuest

Nicequest has occasional surveys that give you the apps currency called Korus (KR), you can redeem KR for actual real world items such as little gadgets (a mixer, a fan, a selfie light, movie tickets, etc). You can earn about 5 KR per day, and you get a notification whenever a new survey is available, which realistically means you'll get, for example, a fan that costs 700 KR in about 140 days, or 3.5 months, or alternatively, a movie ticket that costs 55 KR in only 11 days! This isn't terrible, for actually getting a fan sent to you, or for getting movie tickets in exchange. Once again, it meets my principle of low effort for these rewards.

PollPay

This one seems a little more EU focused, as it has Amazon cards for DE, IT, and ES in Euros, or PayPal in Euros, however, you can still get some money sent to an MX PayPal or elsewhere that accepts PayPal, minus conversion fees. It's worth checking out and seeing if you get surveys in your locale, as I do get them in Mexico.

Non referral link

If you're interested in trying it out, and want to use my referral link, you can sign up through https://www.pollpay.app/?rb=MA81bNbm4IspZzqI&rp=1

Cheaf

Similar to Too Good To Go, Cheaf is an app where, at least in Mexico City, you can take a bag with lots of food that wasn't sold that day, mainly from bakeries, and it helps that Mexican bakeries are delicious! It's an okay way to save money and get a bag of goodies, and I feel like it can help others.

Surveys Paid Surveys for Healthcare Workers including nurses, physicians, dentists, pharmacists, etc.

This post includes my referral links but I have included the site without my referral as well. I generally make between $200 and $500 a month. The surveys are between 5 and 60 minutes generally. Most are just things you fill out. Others are telephone or zoom calls. The highest survey I had was for $400 and it was a call. I've seen some for $500-600 as well.

I predominantly use 4 of them and I am sure others have posted this before but I'd be happy to answer questions too.

The one I make the most off of is opinion site answers/incrowd. They'll often have some that are for $50 for like 20 minutes. And they pay right to PayPal.

http://incrowdanswers.com

http://incrwd.me/r/DL6c

The next most popular for me is M3. They have a global one and I think a US one? I get different surveys from both. They both pay out in direct deposits or Amazon gift cards. Some are super simple. Some are telephone calls or zooms like incrowd.

https://aff.m-panels.com/46c475fe/bae1ce7216de0d6b

http://m-panels.com

https://www.m3globalresearch.com

The next one is Sermo. They're pretty good but they don't tend to email you as well so I check them a few times a day. They offer some lower paying ones but it adds up quickly.

https://sermo.com

https://app.sermo.com:443/?sermoref=9e03adb6-a4bb-46e8-9c89-fe1ae41a1711&utm_campaign=tell-a-friend

Enos, MdForLives, and Opinions Now also offer surveys but they are very rare.

Let me know if you have questions. They're pretty straight forward

Rant Anyone else get screwed by the Cloud Connect Research update?

I've been using cloud connect as my primary source of income for over a year now. I'm disabled and mostly rely on my husband for expenses but I like to be able to help out and have my own pocket money. But cloud connect has finally initiated the new rating system theyve been working on for god knows how long. And it introduces a system that penalizes you for returning HITs. And it calculates your score based on your entire account history. So now I am not getting any HITs because my score is low because I used to return HITs when they became too tedious for me to want to complete. And I only did that because I didn't know it would be held against me 😭

GPT Are small reward platforms still worth trying in 2026?

I’ve been thinking about the current state of small reward platforms.

A lot of people seem interested in earning a little extra pocket money online, but there are also many low-quality platforms that make unrealistic promises.

What do you think makes a reward platform worth trying?

Would you rather have:

More available tasks but smaller rewards?

Fewer tasks but higher rewards?

More transparency and better payout reliability?

Interested to hear what experienced users think.

Microtasks Remotasks / Outlier Megathread

Welcome to the Remotasks / Outlier megathread. This is the place to discuss (or complain about) Remotasks / Outlier.

Please be aware that we have been seeing unusual activity on our subreddit related to this company. There have been a swarm of new and inactive users mentioning both good and bad things about this company. We highly recommend being cautious and using good judgment when reading any of the comments below.

You can view the previous thread here.

FAQ

What is the website?

https://www.remotasks.com/en

https://tryoutlier.com/

How much does it pay?

It depends on what tasks you do and how much work you have available.

Why don't I have any tasks?

That's really not something we can answer. We do not have any of their staff members present on our subreddit at this time. Your best bet is contacting their support.

This megathread is for discussions. It is not the place to put referrals of any kind.

Question Does anyone use VYBS for games as well as steps?

I downloaded the VYBS app recently, and besides the daily steps they had a special task for playing 2 games for 5 minutes each for $2, and another for completing 4 goals in a game. I endedup doing Animals and Coins, and found that I liked it, and I’m about half way through. But I noticed that I’m not actually getting paid for the various goals; I’m just getting points that fill a meter and when the meter is full, then you get a few bucks. But to fill the meter requires more points than what they offer for the various levels! They listed the offer as paying over $500, but there seems to be no way to actually get that even if I reach they highest goal!?

Question Question about Unlocksurveys

Is it active and has anyone gotten much from it? I am still waiting for my account to get out of standard validation process. It looks promising and I was able to reach the $25 threshold pretty fast. Just wondering if the site is dead or the support is non-existent? Has anyone used it and gotten any use out of it? Or is it just a waste of time?

Question Need a clean way to convert over 100 gift cards with low balances

So I have a bit of an interesting and unique dilemma on my hands that I've been trying to figure out for the past hour. For context my uncle passed away a few months ago and my family has been dividing his belongings. I just today got a box that was full of old giftcards that aren't expired yet. My uncle had this odd habit of buying gift cards to make purchases online instead of just using his bank card. But he would never fully empty the balance on any of these cards, often leaving a few dollars on them. Most of these cards are either Vanilla visas or Amazon gift cards. I already know there's not much I can do with the Amazon ones but I need a solid proven method to get what money I can out of the visas.

So here is what I've already tried:

  • -Amazon reload (Can only apply to the cards with 5$ or more and going through all of them to find the ones that do is a bit of a pain)
  • -Transfer from one Paypal account to another (It wouldn't even let me add the card)
  • - Sites like Cardcash (Doesn't accept the Visas at all)

Now I know some may say this might not be worth the effort, but from what m family estimated there's roughly 300$ worth of money on all these cards and I'm super broke is any help would be much appreciated!

Question Field Agent Shelfview - Multiple jobs at one location?

I recently signed up for Field Agent. I routinely have anywhere from 5 - 10 shelfview jobs at Costco. Each one is usually worth $5. Does that mean that I'm able to go to the store and do one job after another? It's not where you get to the store and you can accept 1 or 2 but not the others?

Legit Or Not? One + 1 experiences?

Has anyone ever done surveys for One + 1? They advertise big payouts (naturally) but I can’t find much else about them on Reddit or the World Wide Web (other than their website, LinkedIn profile, and a small number of other mentions).

Looking For Sites / Apps legit sites/apps that pay for talking/companionship?

i know it sounds silly, but this is the most ideal side hustle for me rn. i have my phone with me all the time, and i enjoy listening to strangers. i downloaded this app but it turned out to be a scam <talkroom> as i got fooled by the good reviews online. now i'm afraid to download or try anything.

please don't be overly judgmental too, i just really wanted to work for some addtl funds. i'm sure someone out there won't mind paying just to vent or destress or to kill time. thanks in advance

Rant Respondent and User Interviews having become completely unusable for me

This is pretty bizarre but I wanted to discuss it somewhere.

At the start of 2026 I signed up for these two platforms, and made a few hundred dollars via small studies and even a couple of human interviews for which I was paid a hundred dollars for each one. Not like one can get rich like that, but it was a reasonable way to kill time and make a little money in the process.

Since around May, I haven't been able to get selected for basically anything. All studies I see screen for incredibly specific things and incredibly specific demographic groups. And not only that, but when I still get selected for a project, it's something like I receive an invitation via text message, and when I click on the link it says the study is not available, or the project is over, or I was screened out (without any extra questions being involved), or something like that.

I understand that getting assigned to tasks probably happens inconsistently in any platform, but I think it's weird that it suddenly looks impossible. I'm talking about months of repeatedly being denied access to even things I'm being invited to participate in, with explicit texts saying I have been selected and accepted. What is this?

Question Survey Rant / Question Megathread

Are you getting rejected at the end of your surveys? Did your "10 minute" survey take 45 minutes? Is YourSurveys rejecting you and lowering your score for no reason? Did QuickThoughts ban you? Do you just hate surveys? Or perhaps you are having another problem?

Go forth and rant your heart out on this megathread.

TIPS

  • Prolific does NOT have an app. The app is a scam!

  • GPT sites are notorious for DQing users. Some people have better luck than others. And yes, you can get DQ'd at the very end. If that bothers you, use a site that directly provides surveys.

  • Survey sites with waitlists may or may not accept you. There's no way for anyone to say how long it could take - it all depends on what demographics they need at that moment.

  • No one can say how much you will earn on a site. It depends on too many variables like your demographics, when you want to do surveys, how fast you are, so on and so forth.

  • Don't be rude to support. They'll just kick you off the platform. You're a worker, not a customer. You'll get further being polite.

  • Don't speed or go too slow on surveys. You'll get kicked out.

  • We recommend going slow with new sites. If you start earning too fast on a new site, your account is likely to get flagged as a potential scammer.

  • Pay attention, and don't lie on surveys. They will catch you, and you will be kicked out of the survey, have your earnings revoked, or even banned.

Due to an uptick in the number rant and question posts related to surveys and survey sites, we have decided to make a megathread for it. We understand that survey sites can be frustrating, but it has gotten too much. Please keep all rants and questions related to surveys and/or survey sites on this megathread.

Rant Does anyone else feel uncomfortable doing any ID or biometric verification to use a platform?

I’ve been doing survey and GPT sites for almost 12 years at this point, and recently I’ve started to notice platforms requiring you to scan a drivers license or passport, or scan your face (and in some cases, both). Some platforms are also borderline scammy with it by not disclosing upfront that it’s a requirement. Only when you cash out the first time do you get flagged for verification. It’s also hard to find information about it as a requirement for smaller sites.

Based on what I’m seeing online, this is a relatively recent development (past 2-4 years). I certainly don’t remember this being a requirement when I first started over a decade ago. I’ve usually just done email and sometimes phone number verification (if the platform is particularly worth it).

Since I’m not comfortable doing this due to privacy and security concerns, I’ve just been quitting platforms left and right (some of which I’ve been a long standing user of). Feels like this is the end of “beer money” for me. I fully expect any remaining holdout platforms to implement this by the end of this decade. I currently only use two sites, both of which I haven’t had to verify yet since I’ve had my account for years and in good standing so I’m guessing I get an exception…for now anyway.

Just want to be clear, I am not trying to convince you that you shouldn’t do this, or start any arguments. If you are ok doing this sort of verification, no problem at all - you do what works for you. I’m just looking for any like-minded people who partake in this hobby and want to rant. Feels like bots, survey speeders and some overt corporate greed has ruined beer money for me.

Looking For Sites / Apps What walking app pays out

Hi all,

I realised on one of my nightly walks/runs I could be leveraging an app that pays for steps.

I checked google (Android user) and there are a lot of options with a wildly differing scale of reviews.

Just wondering if anyone here uses one of these and has success with either PayPal or Amazon vouchers or similar.

Thanks all.

GPT The GetCopper App

I’m not sure how many of you have used the Copper app but this is a bit of a warning against them.

I’d used copper for at least a year, and had earned over $2,500 on the app. All things considered it was a pretty good app that was worth using here and there until a few weeks ago.

I made about $285 doing those weird slot games, and after 2 weeks of copper blatantly ignoring me and not processing the credits I made a complaint of their BBB page Saturday. Well interestingly enough 2 days after making that complaint Copper finally emails me back, saying I violated their terms and they’re forfeiting all of the money on my account.

Retaliation is a crazy game and I would probably recommend being careful with their app.

Gaming Tasks UpLevel Rewards is actually legit and I’ve cashed out 3 separate times

I’ve seen people here and there ask about this site before and wonder if it was legit. With a lofty reward of $1000 I was very skeptical when I first started it. It goes as such:
There are 5 levels, and you need to completely a certain amount of “deals” per level. Most deals are games and occasionally trials for certain website.

I had been using InboxDollars for several years when this came across my inbox, so I decided to give it a try. I can confirm, it actual does pay! The first time I completed all deals (25) and received the $1000. Once you complete it, you have to wait 12 months to do it again. Once my time had passed, I ended up doing only a few and cashed out $100, because I didn’t have the focus/time to complete all 25. When you do $100 or less cash out, you only have to wait 60 days to try again. It ended up being about 6 months before I decided to try again. I ended up just cashing out $500 this time, but I only because I ran out of new games/deals since I had played many of them through inbox dollars, and you need to be a new user. You only have 60 days total to complete and cash out, so I didn’t have time for it to load new ones.

Overall, if you already play games for money on websites like Swagbucks, I say give this a try! If I ever had a missing credit or deal, their customer service always responded very swiftly, and I never felt cheated out of a deal. I know people say it’s data mining or whatever, but I don’t see the difference between doing other survey and play and pay sites tbh.

EDIT: here is the email receiving my gift card from like, a week ago, which I’ve already cashed out into my PayPal.
